    You mentioned having to facetime with people to tutor them on the straps, and seemed surprised some folks didn't know how to use ratchet straps. How about a video on how to properly strap down bikes? Maybe show the difference in strapping for baggers, full fairing sport bikes and naked bikes.

      Haven’t yet got a motorcycle but from my experience with mountain bikes as a kid a lot of people strap above the suspension which means when the vehicle goes over a bump the suspension bottoms out and damages the bike or breaks the suspension

    Hey guys I'm Dylan , 26 from Columbia SC , and let me just say I freakin literally just started following you guys not even a full 24 hours yet lol , this is the first , ONE , and ONLY channel on the TUBE that I've ever subscribled to .. but man I raise my glass to everyone and everything that y'all DO , HAVE DONE , AND CURRENTLY DOING ... the other night I watched probably 30 videos or something like that lol , and man i support you guys and my advice is to you guys is to just keep pushing and just doin what y'all do ... I'm a local rider here , actually bought a 1984 YAMAHA YICS 750 , I've had it for a little over 2 months now and my third day of getting it , the starter went out on me and long story short , a few hours later and the twist of a couple wrenches , some blood , sweat , and tears lol .. replaced starter , totally rebuilt all four Carbs . But FYI , I've never worked on a bike a day in my life but I did because I'm a dedicated rider and am in love with the idea of 2 wheels and a rumbling engine that goes fast .. but besides all that .. I just wanted to pitch an idea that in no way shape or form have to benefit me at ALL so don't take this that way , so I'm gonna just get down to it straight up .. So , as I'm watching these vids I'm thinking to myself man it would be sick to do something a little outside the box .. like pull some of these forgotten bikes (HAVE TO RUN) OR (SIMPLE FIX ) that are just bottom of the barrel bikes as I call it and do like a Rat Rod style types of bikes . Because you guys know as well as myself not all bikes looks nice or have all of there components , but have to atleast run , so you get the idea .. and that might sound cheesy as hell idk but think about it , you could turn these things for next to nothing at all and so the idea is to get the attention of a different type of crowd , I think it would be cool as hell to do and no I'm not stealing the idea from Discoverys RAT RODS the show I'm just saying do something like it , now this is just a fantasy .. I haven't thought it all the way through as to everything that has to go along with it but definitely would get some more youtubers to scribe and man all things considered would just be fun and cool as hell .

      Bikes and Beards
      To keep it cheap for you, do it like beauty shops with a few minor changes.
      In a lot of Beauty shops they rent out chairs to beauticians, and all work together with each beautician paying rent for their chair and to cover cost of person at cash register, etc. (as needed).
      Create a space and provide certain tools, etc. and rent out the space to a mechanic who can hang their own sign, bring in other business for them, but your work takes precedence (since you have last minute work that needs to be prioritized to make timely sales)... there is a motorcycle mechanic somewhere willing to do this... (no, it isn’t me).

      The problem with going into the repair business is that is a minimum of 3 employees because you need a parts guy, you are going to put a ton of money into tools and parts inventory, and you will be competing against your existing friend that takes good care of you from what I’ve seen.

You present a good face when you fret over a bike the evening before a customer comes to buy a bike with only a few hundred dollars profit to you. Pulling all nighters and disclosing everything to the customer. Good Business. Making personal connections to your customers.

    I wouldn’t know how to use a ratchet strap if I didn’t work with steel and drive the flat bed . It’s good to know and comes in handy a lot

    How on earth do you get dealerships to sell you a bike at wholesale?

    • @salyerbrandon
      @salyerbrandon 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Simple. You buy a boatload of bikes from them.

    vitpilen and svartpilen translates to "white arrow" and "Black Arrow" and is basically a KTM with husqvarna branding.

    Huskys basically are KTMs but using different break companies for the peripherals like breaks, wheels etc. The chassis, engines suspension are basically the same sometimes with different intakes but still. However for some reason I like Huskys better and from all I've read they appear to be more reliable also a tiny bit more expensive as well usually. Just reentered Moto3 and are apparently going to be making road bikes, can't wait to see what they bring to the roads.

    The ST100 is notorious for heat build up causing the gas tank to get very hot. One guy stated it was burning his balls. Extensive modifications are needed.
