The price point and compact size make this one very interesting. But the Zhiyun Q2 is just slightly bigger and has a three axis gimbal, and costs just a little more. That being said it’s not a bad value for the price, if you need super compact size. Great review and testing of this product.
Great device, replaced my 3 axis gimbal with it. Its not as stable, but so compact i take it with me, the other one was always too heavy... PS: it works better if you try to hold it that wya that the not stabilized axle is laterally to your most movement.
Nice video but even for the small price I couldn’t really see a whole lot of difference between the shots of hand held and ‘with’ the gimbal. I’ll keep using my much larger HoHem iSteady Mobile Plus I suppose. Thanks for sharing! ~Jim~

Not effect for back camera (main camera) because only 2 axis. But for front camera that usualy dont have stabilizer, will have different. Your review always good. Thanks.
I got my brand new Smooth-x a few days ago, it is not working normally when i opened up the smooth-x, I learnt later from Utube that it needs to be activated by a factory APP, and the GPS must be turned on in case to activate the Smooth-x. Then, there came my awareness that why the factory want to know my location, and this is against my will to expose my location during my shooting, I also found out that, they even NOT mention this important "activation" in their product advertisement , since this is a Privacy issue, So, I want to return it to the supplier, but they refused to do so.

By first pointing out that it is only a 2 axis gimbal without the tilt axis I feel it's a little unfair that you chose to only include a walking footage for comparison knowing that is it's weakest point, sure do have the walking test to let everyone know of it's limitations but you should have at least included other tests to compare if there are any differences and advantages over not using this gimbal at all, because otherwise that test footage is pretty much useless, you also didn't mention if the footage shot with the gimbal was through the stock camera or the Zhiyun app.
Definitely the gimbal is not designed for running or any kind of extreme movements. It’s mainly design just how are used it smoothing out a bit of handheld footage for vlogging etc. As for what camera I used it would not affect the footage Or stabilization

You're actually supposed to tilt the handle away rather than just force the head past the handle rotating it... Nothing needs to touch or rub folding or unfolding.
Honestly, must be the worst looking gimble that i have ever saw from Zhiyun. No 3axis . Cheap and tacky looking too. No thanks . Thanks for the review. 👍🏼

Can you do a comparison later with DJI's gimbal..? I don't think it does the job done.
You need to use the zhiyun app to record, which generate more stable videos.
