FYI, this gimbal apparently does hold 235g, but the info from Zhiyun is confusing as it says "Valid Payload" is 200g plus/minus 35g. So it seems the "ideal" payload is 200g, but will hold up to 235g. Either way the iPhone 11 Pro Max worked okay with the Litechaser Pro, but was probably pushing the weight limit.
Do you use ZY cami app for shooting? Or you are using iPhone default camera? I realized device taken and GPS info was not stored if using ZY cami app. And, the date taken is not found after photos transferred into windows laptop.

Only 2 axis but within the limits of that it looks there may be some utility for a lot of people. Curious about the battery, it almost sounds like it’s not shutting down completely or maybe just a bad battery.
The low angle shots would work well for some of the things I do.

Battery worked fine in use. Just the standby time was a bit odd, especially compared to like the Smooth 4 which has amazing battery life. The telescoping arm is nice and definitely useful. Thanks for watching!

You are correct, they both make you register now! Ugh. It’s all for data collection which I guess is the world we live in now. But pretty crazy to me that a gimbal you buy won’t work until you “activate” it.

Blake did you ever do the follow up video on the crane m2? I am looking for a gimbal that can handle heavy phones, case and heavy lenses with weights. So I was curious how things went, but I couldn't find any follow up video. Some people love it, but balancing (as you experienced) seems to be painful...

Never did a full follow-up, but have shown it and mentioned it in other videos. Not my favorite gimbal tbh, especially for smartphones (since the setups are top heavy). For smaller compact cameras or mirrorless its good though. If you like Zhiyun then it’s a solid option, but the FeiyuTech G6 Max is probably better and a recent favorite in this category. Also like the Moza Mini-P. Have all my gimbal vids in once place now if you want to check them out... bit.ly/GimbalBuyersGuide
I'm glad you did this video as I was curious about the need for a 2 axis gimbal. After seeing this, I don't really see a need for this when you can get a MOZA Mini S for about the same price and have 3 axis stabalization.
Yeah it’s really about the selfie stick, which tbh is kind of cool. But not a great overall gimbal imo.

Great Video. Do you think I can use it with my action cam too? (similar to a gopro) I search a Gimbal with which I can use my phone and my action cam and yeas removable battery ;-)
It’ll definitely hold it but you might need to figure out the best rigging solution.

The battery is great! Your phone is to heavy and therefore the battery drains to fast.
Yeah that may be true, however, Zhiyun states it’s best runtime is 5.5 hours. Most gimbals will do almost twice that. It’s got a small battery because it’s such a small gimbal.
