I had to read this book for school and I really think I would not have enjoyed it as much as I did if I didn’t have your audiobook to listen to while reading. Seriously cannot thank you enough.
It’s really my pleasure. If I’m being honest this comment pretty perfectly encapsulates everything I could hope for when I make these - so thanks for taking the time to share your experience!
Beautifully read! I love how you do all the different voices: Walton, Frankenstein, the Creature. I'm very ill (cancer) and it is such a blessing to have these wonderful audiobooks like yours to listen to while I rest up on bed.
I read this book back in high school and it was one of my favorite required readings. Your narration and the voices of the main characters was nothing short of spectacular. I can actually feel the anguish, despair and sorrow of both Victor and the Creature through your performance. Please keep doing what you're doing. This was amazing.
THANK YOU. I’m taking a college course and completely forgot to do the reading. It’s two days before class starts and I’m finally almost through the novel ❤
I used your audiobook of The Great Gatsby for my AP Literature class during the summer. Now, I’m using this video for the same class! Thank you for your kind service. 🙏
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR READING THIS!! I personally cannot read books on paper for the life of me, I always procrastinate on reading. It really helps to have a voice reading it for me. Your voice fits the book so well, by the way!!!!
I’m so glad! It’s a challenging story, and a really interesting one to read right now with all the news and developments regarding the creation of Artificial Intelligence. I hope you enjoy it!
I typically initially read from a paper copy but then record myself reading from whatever version of a classic book is available to read on the Books App on my I-pad. Unfortunately this one does not provide the exact publication date or edition - but I believe I read her longest iteration of the story.
Thankk youuu 😢😢 I can't read or understand classics, the only way I made any progress at all is to force myself to hear the audiobook on repeat. This helped a lot! Saved me so much suffering!
Thank you for this, it kept me focused while reading Frankenstein for school. I hated the book because I was forced to read it, but this audiobook made me enjoy the book again.
Thank goodness for this! It makes reading the book so much easier! My daughter has dyslexia and having this support to read the book is amazing! Thank you!
Thanks so much! I totally understand, it’s a tough read for sure, but there are such stunningly beautiful things in it. I hope you continue to enjoy it!
Thank you tremendously Nolan! Great reading voice and thank you for the Closed Captioning! I am Hard Of Hearing so Closed Captionings are vital for me. Plus I am Substitute teacher that will need this in the near future when I teach High School English. Closed Captioning can assist students who are English Learners too. I appreciate your efforts. God bless you =)
Hello Amanda! Thanks for listening and taking the time to comment, it means a lot to me! I'm so glad you've enjoyed this ad that it's been helpful to you. And thank you for sharing this work with your students! All my best wishes - Nolan
6:47:18 there seems to be missing the line “ yet one of the first results of those sympathies for which the demon thirsted would be children” I am really enjoying listening to this while reading as this has been a surprisingly hard book for me:)
Hey, thanks for listening! There are different editions of this book that were published in 1818 and 1831. It’s possible that the difference you’ve noticed is because of this, it’s also very possible I made a mistake when editing. If you are interested - there are a lot of great articles available online discussing the difference between these editions and how over the years the popularity of the editions have changed and shifted.

YOUR VOICE IS SO PERFECT FOR THIS NOVEL!!!
Thanks, Random pot of Chili. Your username made me smile.
Agree--but maybe even more perfect for Holden Caulfield in The Catcher in the Rye.

Im not even that far in and it feels already like Walton is gay
crazy
Walton's glazing is actually crazy. He's writing fanfiction about some crackhead from the street. Daniel Larusso levels of glaze.
Lord Percy, Mary Shelley’s husband, and Lord Byron certainly were. She was about that queer life!
IM CONFUSED 😭😭😭
My favorite book read by my favorite audiobook performer. Guess I know what I'm doing all day!
This is the first audiobook voice I like thank you
Happy to hear it!
I’ve never read this, but I am now thanks to you!

That’s a great point. Yes, thoroughly enjoying. Do you recall which version you read from?

Glad to hear it!

Lmao he does have a weird fascination and commitment with someone he just met.
Love the classics, Dracula & Frankenstein etc. To listen to these is far better than reading them. Many thanks.
Thankk youuu 😢😢

Victor Frankenstein: I CAN MAKE DEAD THINGS COME TO LIFE!!
Also Victor Frankenstein: Oh No! My family member just died! Whatever shall I do!?
bruh entire story is the consequence of that very action LMAO, bro would prolly kill himself before he did that again
Oh my god imagine if he decided to try and monster all his dead loved ones too-
The voice you gave to the Creature is simply fantastic.
It reminds me of Cumberbatch’s interpretation of the character, which is my favourite.
Appreciated as always Nolan!! Thanks for your work!! ❤

You’re so welcome. I know the feeling.
Enjoyed portions of your narration as I re-read some of the chapters. Love the way you did the Creature voice. Great book. Thank you.
Came to listen to the book on my own. Was glad when the reader was proficient in his craft
Bro helped me pass English 101 😭

Thanks! It’s a lot of fun. The monster was certainly an interesting challenge. Thanks for listening and taking the time to comment!
Love this narrator. His style and voice reminds me of Michael C. Hall when he narrated Pet Semetary.
What an excellent audiobook you have given us. I followed along in my Penguin Classics 1818 edition of Frankenstein.
Thank you very much.
It’s my pleasure. Thanks for taking the time to listen and comment! Glad you liked it.
