HER WORK IS SO NICE, RAW DELICATE, NAIVE PURE BEAUTIFUL AND EVERYTHING DONE WITH GOOD MANNERS INTELLIGENCE AND GOOD TASTE. JUST GENIUS.
I have read this book many times over and watched both the 1995, and 2005 movies. I now am listening to this in the car. I love the narrator's voice and her skills. Simply superb!
I must confess that this is my first time ever succeeding in finishing this novel. It is an absolutely delightful read and the narration is so well done. I dare say that I love this novel even better than its film adaptations which are all greatly loved by myself. I endeavor to read this novel again and again in the future as it gives me great joy. Thank you for posting such a delightful narration to one of my most beloved stories in all of literature!
Have you seen the BBC production with Colin Firth? It's brilliant (acting). It's not a cinematographic production but I guarantee you it's probably the best.
We are glad to hear this work was enjoyable to the finish. It's quite the congratulations for us to know just how well you enjoyed this work. We are very glad to have brought it to you. Thank you for your kind regards!

Pride & Prejudice is my all time favorite love story due to the exquisite building tension between Lizzy and Mr. Darcy as they circle one another in an attempt to conquer one another.
I read the book, watched the 1940s film version with Laurence Oliver and Greer Garsson..and the BBC series back in the 90s...excelente production..and read the book in Portuguese Version...two years ago on Holidays...
This is an audiobook of the most excellent kind. The representation as well as the top notch reading of it, gave me a feeling that is nothing less than of reading the classic myself. I am grateful for it and glad to come across it simply by chance. Sending a lot of love and heartiest thanks from India!

Being one of those persons who've read this book many times, and also regularly watches the perfect Ehle-Firth portrayals, your reading offers a richly different and heightened experience, aided by visual text. I'm grateful to have come across it, now realizing I've always read P&P like eating chocolate--too quickly, missing too many nuances. Four stars to you.
Not nen bow!!! I've read it twice, as a teen, again in my 50's, I watched the movie every one I could find!! Now, I enjoy being read too from childhood So here we go! 🎉
Beautiful reading!! Love your accent and voice changes for all characters. I listen to your readings several times a year. Love all the Jane Austin readings.❤
I really loved your narration throughout the whole story..😮 The change of voice for each character, the pleasent accent.. Thanks for the great work 💗 b/c of the eye surgery, I could only listen and this channel entertained me so well that I hope to visit again sooner or later 🥰
When the author writes "prideful and of himself" does this mean he's gay ? I'm not a scholar , I just really wanted to read one of the classics people talk about ; I'm more confused than not

Thank you. This is wonderful. I've been experiencing neurological issues and books are difficult. Audiobooks pass by too quickly - the words dont make sense - but books I can't focus on. This helps bridge the limitations of both mediums. I want to study and wish I could focus. This helps out a lot. Much appreciated.
@@StoryClassics well I listened to the whole book in 3 days. Every moment I had. Do you have a suggestion for my next book? This is a new format for me. I never knew I could get so much enjoyment out a book. I wish I could properly express my gratitude. I haven’t got the time to sit and read and my attention span is not the best. I comprehended the material completely. The speed was engaging but not overwhelming. The tone and narration was extraordinarily well done. Just a phenomenon job. This really is such an incredible gift for people like me. I hope somehow, someway, this effort will be blessed to your benefit. God bless.

You are quite welcome. It is our honor to have done something that has helped you so. We are so very glad our concept and design are so well received. Thank you for joining us.
This is a very old form of English. You should also check out Dr Octavia Cox explanation of what some of these older versions of the words mean so that you can use them in appropriate context for modern language.
I have seen two of Pride and Prejudice. The six part series with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle. And the movie with Kiera Knightley. I have also read reviews where neither did the book any justice. I wanted to read it asap to see what I was missing, as I loved both series and movie. I am so happy that I found your channel. I'm hearing impaired & this is one of the many audio books with closed caption. I'm also older and need large print. The closed caption sometimes gets it wrong. To my surprise, the book pages are on the screen, and in "Large Print". Thank you so much for this! And, your voice is so perfect. 😊 I'm definitely subscribing and hope to find more to enjoy. ❤
i absolutely love these types of videos! this is one of my favorite stories, but with the way life has been, it's difficult to get time to just sit and read anything. this gives me a chance to get done the things I need to do, and listen to a classic treasure. and with this being one of the most beautiful.., but wildly misinterpreted stories i have ever heard, i love to see it being read aloud on here!
I've listened to this so many times in the last month. Soothing voice, easy to read if I miss something, great acting. So much more pleasing than so many other texts. I love when the narrator does a nice even neutral, almost robotic voice. But each character is distinctly different and easy to tell apart as soon as I hear them.
We are so very glad to hear that you enjoyed this work so very much. Thank you for sharing such elegant detail of your experience with this work. All the best to you and yours.
Yes, the narration really is extraordinary. It is very rare to find a female narrator that is even bearable, let alone someone who actually has believable accents for the characters. I wish she would narrate some of the other classics.
My gratitude is more than words can say. I really appreciate this video with the rolling texts and the chapters time stamps. The narrator voice is marvelous. I will endeavour to listen to it in the future. Yours etc
Thank you for sharing this with us! We hoped the text scrolling design would capture the elegance of the story and delight the reader. So we are so very glad to hear you enjoyed this. Thank you for being with us!

Love stories between the very rich and the even richer. Nobody works, nobody goes to school, Everyone has lots of servants. I'm just keeping it real. Having said that, it is a brilliant novel and this is a first-rate audio book!
We’re delighted you enjoyed this rendition! Yes, the author, Jane Austen, was believed to have lived in similar fashion to the works. This different lifestyle would offer different perspectives of experience and the challenges present in that. All the while the storytelling is still able to create that relatable element in interpersonal relationships which so many of us share. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and for being with us!

Just so you are aware this is a very old form of English and is not going to be extremely useful to you learning modern english. Many of the words in this book are not used in this way anymore.

But this audio book is just great that can learn about pronunciation while enjoying the story. Thank you so much for your great efforts. I have read this book - and listened to it - a million times. Just struck by two things: 1) at the end of the book, Mr. Bennett seriously says Wickham is his favorite son-in-law (will he never stop making stupid decisions? He marries a lovely but vacant woman and has to live with that the rest of his life) and 2) Mrs. Bennett's ridiculous nature really grates on me now. Never a stupider woman born - and her youngest daughter follows right along...

I’m only 6 minutes in so far but I love your voices you do for the different character! Your voice for Mrs. Bennett has already had me laughing multiple times because it really conveys her overdramatize character well!
TKS AGAIN AND AGAIN this is my number 1 writer of novellas MISS JANE AUSTIN I have SEEN AND READ ALL HER NOVELLAS SEVERAL TIMES OVER. WHAT A PITY MISS AUSTIN DIDN'T WRITE MORE OF HER ART AND TALENT. HER WORK IS SO NICE, RAW DELICATE, NAIVE PURE BEAUTIFUL AND EVERYTHING DONE WITH GOOD MANNERS INTELLIGENCE AND GOOD TASTE. JUST GENIUS.
I wrote by mistake Jane Austen's, family name instead of Austen I wrote Austin ,sorry
We are very glad you enjoyed this work and we hope all the best to you! Thank you for sharing!
@Anita Holst Thank you for the suggestion.
I am beyond grateful for your kind generosity and hard work. Thank you so much for allowing us the honor of being able to listen and read along. I am sincerely grateful and appreciate this so very much! ❤️
It is our genuine honor to be able to bring this work together as it is a wonderful experience for you. Your experience is the best of our hopes.
2:56:49 Mr. Collins doesn't know how to take no as an answer!
What an infuriating man!
I love this book and that it is very well read. Chapter 56 is my favourite. The dialogue between Elizabeth and Lady Catherine is the best!
It's wonderful to hear that you have enjoyed this work so well. Thank you for sharing!
This is an audiobook of the most excellent kind. The representation as well as the top notch reading of it, gave me a feeling that is nothing less than of reading the classic myself. I am grateful for it and glad to come across it simply by chance. Sending a lot of love and heartiest thanks from India!
It is the deepest hope that this work would be held in such high esteem to bring such joy. It is so moving to hear that this work along with our hopes and intentions was received so very well. It is to you we thank for being with us and sharing such heartwarming regards. All the best to you and yours!
I am glad that this audiobook exists. It's more easy to understand the story this way. Thank you 💕
It warms our hearts to know that it served you in such a way. Thank you for your kind regards.
The narration is perfection. Many thanks.
I am here to learn English, and I love English novels. Thank you.
You are quite welcome. We are delighted to have this available for you. It means so much for us to be of help.
Not nen bow!!! I've read it twice, as a teen, again in my 50's, I watched the movie every one I could find!! Now, I enjoy being read too from childhood So here we go! 🎉
The girl is an angel ! Her narration and voice manipulation is on point!
This was phenomenal! Karen's narration is perfect for each character, capturing the humor and wit in the dialogue.
She talks a bit too fast, but she's good.
Beautiful reading!! Love your accent and voice changes for all characters. I listen to your readings several times a year. Love all the Jane Austin readings.❤
Lmao those roasts.
Feels like Jane Austin just spied a family for years and wrote their every event.
This just looks so real 😂
Haha, we hadn't considered that, but you might be on to something. It is very easy to imagine.
I really loved your narration throughout the whole story..😮 The change of voice for each character, the pleasent accent.. Thanks for the great work 💗 b/c of the eye surgery, I could only listen and this channel entertained me so well that I hope to visit again sooner or later 🥰
I've listened to this reading about a dozen times now. It's such a wonderful gift to have found. Thank you to the reader
When the author writes "prideful and of himself" does this mean he's gay ? I'm not a scholar , I just really wanted to read one of the classics people talk about ; I'm more confused than not
@@francheskaexists3654prideful is another variation of proud. I’m pretty sure it was saying that he’s proud
This has been such a delight to listen while in convalescence! Thank you for such a sublime narration!!
It is so heartwarming to know that this work would be so beneficial for you at such a time. Thank you for your kind remarks. We placed the narrator's information is in the description if you'd like to know more. Here's to your strong recovery!
I'm really enjoying it too. Love from New Zealand 🙂
@@ronnykuitert2738 It's so wonderful to hear you enjoy it so. Love (from the United States) and cheers! :)
Going through text while listening reminded me my school life sitting in English class. Fabulous work, hope more books are in line to be uploaded.
We are really glad to know that this work resonated so well as it would have you reminiscing. Thank you for your kind regards. There are more titles to come.
The reader is wonderful. Her ability to add inflection and changing characters is amazing.
I never imagined I could enjoy a book so much. I could listen to this all day. Thank you for the incredible gift of your time and talent.
We are delighted you enjoy this work so much. This is a collaborative effort, and we deeply appreciate your very thoughtful regards.
God bless.
Im a high school student in form six from Uganda I'm so happy to have this...I was worried how I'm going to buy the book and read it before my final papers.. Thanks for this..God bless you
It is such an honor for us to know that this work could serve you in such a way. All the best to you in all your days ahead. God bless you too.
@@StoryClassics Amen☺️🙇
This was so helpful! I had a paper on this book due in 8 days. Because of this I finished the book in 4 days and now have hope of getting a good grade. Thank you!
That makes us smile. We are glad to have been able to help. Thank you for considering us as well. All the best!
This is great, I was just curious to see what this famous book was about, but I actually stayed for the narrator and the presentation.
Thank you for the kind words! We are so grateful that you came to our channel and so enjoyed our content.
Guys, thank you so much for helping me with learning English. The audio plus text on the screen is absolutely amazing.
Read this book all the way in high school. And yet with the narration, it’s like I can hear the characters
I'm definitely subscribing and hope to find more to enjoy. ❤
Dear ! You are a great talent! Thank you!
Thanks, I love that it's the text alongside with the audio!
Such a delight to read as well as listen to one of our history's most notable novels♥️ thank you
I'm about half way through this book and I just want to say that I luv how u read mr.collins's lines lols🤣🤣
i absolutely love these types of videos! this is one of my favorite stories, but with the way life has been, it's difficult to get time to just sit and read anything. this gives me a chance to get done the things I need to do, and listen to a classic treasure.
and with this being one of the most beautiful.., but wildly misinterpreted stories i have ever heard, i love to see it being read aloud on here!
Yours etc
We are very honored by your regards. We do put a lot of thought and effort into these works. Thank you and cheers!
I love that the text is there as well as the audio.
I like to read along using the text. Nice touch!
Thank you for sharing this with us! We hoped the text scrolling design would capture the elegance of the story and delight the reader. So we are so very glad to hear you enjoyed this. Thank you for being with us!
This is my summer reading book and my first day of school is tomorrow morning. Watching this on 1.5x speed the day before is WAY more effective than attempting to finish it in a day.
목소리 예쁘고 속도도 딱좋고❤ 너무잘듣고있어요. 복받으세요~~
I love how you do Mr. Collins voice 😄 love this audiobook thank you
Love this reading of one of my favorite books. Love listening while I garden and work in the barn or at bedtime.
I am in the middle of writing a Children’s book , Written for the general public of junior high students. And it wished the audio voice sound as nice as this. You have a wonderful way of telling a story. 👏👏👏
This is a collaborative effort and for our part we are delighted to know how much you enjoyed this work. All the best on your Children's book and to all that you do ahead.
@@StoryClassics thanks!
Doubtlessly, the channel is a gorgeous jewel on TH-cam.
Thanks for uoloading this book. Karen Savage, as always, is excellent in reading aloud this book. Also thanks for giving the text too. Have just finished reading 2 chapters and enjoying it already🎉❤
Truly thank you so much for this. As a French student it helps me a lot
Sincerely 🌺
Thank you for creating this. It is perfectly done and helping me so much to read it for my course. I struggle to focus on audiobooks alone and the reading seems so overwhelmingly long. This is great. :)
Thanks for putting this on TH-cam it’s a great listen
It is an honor to us to bring this to you. Thank you for being with us.
I'm very grateful for these audiobooks, they help my comprehension, which has always been a problem for me
I also like the reader's characterization
Thank you for your help and hard work
Thank you, for transporting me back in time.
Your voice is able to keep me enthralled as though I have my head in a book I cannot put down.
J'adore la langue anglaise ! J'adore ce livre !! Et avec votre voix c'est un vrai régale!!!
Thank you so much. What a clear voice she has. Perfect, now I'll look for Wuthering Heights.
We are so very glad you are enjoying this work. More titles to come.
I really like your reading style.
I'm happy to find this channel cause I'm leaning English and I really like this accent, thank u so much! ♡
This is one of my favorite stories! I have read it many times and own multiple versions of movies based on it. Appreciate this audio version! It's helped me to slog through an intensely busy work week. Thanks for dedicating the time to record it. Well done! Best wishes from northern Illinois USA .
I just can't express how delighted i'm while hearing and reading this immortal book .Moreover , the excellent reader ! i'm really regardless of time , words can't hold the depth of what i feel . I'm really thankful guys, you are helping me so much and i encourage you infinitely . keep going !
It is our genuine honor to bring this work to you. Thank you for your very kind regards. We are just overjoyed because of your sentiments. All the very best to you and yours all the day ahead!
So very grateful for this! The animated reading really brings the scenes to life 💜

Thank you so much. Enjoying listening to the recording and seeing the words at the same time. What a real treat.
We always hoped it would be a treat for all to enjoy. We like to think of everyone enjoying the work as we develop it. Thank you for your kind regards.
I have thoroughly enjoyed revisiting both S&S and P&P through these recordings over the last couple weeks, but especially this one. Thank you so much for providing them! I might just go through all your Austen books now and hope you might also include other authors in the future.
Cheers!
It's very heartwarming to know that you have enjoyed this work so much. Yes, we are going to bring more titles and various authors to our channel. Thank you for being with us - we appreciate it completely! Cheers to you!
It's pure joy captured in every minutes
I read Pride and Prejudice while listening to this. This narration made the entire plot much more digestible especially for me, a younger audience, so thank you!(there is about 1/2 errors I caught but they were extremely minute)
the way you are narrating everything is absolutely amazing....it would be great if you could make audio books for other genres too.😊
We are so very glad you have enjoyed this work. More of this narrator's work can be found by searching for "Karen Savage." She does have a variety of works available. We have contact information in the description of this video as well. Thank you for being with us and sharing such kindness.
Thank you for uploading both the audiobook and the perfectly paced unabridged text. Pride and Prejudice was the first novel I read in English and remains my cherished delight for difficult times.
We are honored and grateful it is here for you in such difficult times. It is incredibly uplifting to hear your kind words. Thank you for being with us.
Thank you, I needed to read this book for my AP Lit class over the summer but I have been working so much I never got to it. I'm so glad I can follow along with the audio and still do other things such as play minecraft to keep my hands entertained.
I wish I had used this channel last year lol
this is the first audio book I have really enjoyed listening to. thank you!
감사합니다. 잘 읽으면서 공부하겠습니다. It is a wonderful novel and clear narration. It helps me improve my English reading and writing. Thanks for uploading.
We are glad to help with your studies and it is wonderful to know that it helps your reading and writing as well. It is our honor to do so. Thank you for sharing and being with us.
Just so you are aware this is a very old form of English and is not going to be extremely useful to you learning modern english. Many of the words in this book are not used in this way anymore.
I cannot say enough how much I appreciate this video. I read the paper books couple times and watch the series (1995 version) several times. But this audio book is just great that can learn about pronunciation while enjoying the story. Thank you so much for your great efforts. I already liked and subscribed and look forward to reading more audio books from you.
Thank you so very much for your kind regards. We are very encouraged by how much you enjoyed this work. Thank you for sharing and being with us.

What marvelous and enjoyable ten hours have I spent by your voice. Thank you deeply!
We are delighted you have enjoyed Karen's voice so! You can contact her directly from the description area of this video. It is an honor for us to have shared this with you.
I’m really enjoying listening to this and having the chance to refer to the text too when I want, thank you 💛
