Absolutely fantastic advice 👏 have just won one on an Ebay auction . Have watched both parts of your videos, very helpful. Not sure about the large flame thrower that you used in part one 😂 . I'm in Great Harwood Lancashire, know Blackpool very well. Need to pay you a visit. Regards Nicholas
I am not a big train guy, but the rocket is one of the few that interest me, that is a clever and realistic rocket, I am well impressed in the mechanics, plus its amazing you got a replacement gas cylinder for it, amazing.
Awesome work getting that old Rocket going, you should speak to Banjoman (Richard Paul) on Twitter as he gets these machines running all the time and has loads of knowledge.
it was a common fault apparently, the seal perishes and they leak out. it was a shock to me trying to light it 😂😂 i got my replacement from ebay but there are cheaper alternatives on line if you do a bit of hunting around. thank you for your comment, stay safe. M
Omg never use a blow touch on steam engines as it weakens the solder and could explode later on when its being use i would not buy any thats had a blow touch used on them
We did joke about a potential trip to a&e if that went wrong, but we didn’t put it under any stress for long, and Danger is my middle name ! 😂😂 it’s a museum display and won’t go for sale. We just wanted to see it running one time.
