CRCA1 - Cavity Master from Super Rod has been borne out of years of lifting and then having to repair or replace particle or chipboard flooring to gain access to services, then having the time consuming job of repairing the floor, usually without success.
By using the Cavity Master tool, floors and wall spaces are quickly opened and sealed with the closure plate provided.
Gaining access under a chipboard floor to run cables can use to be a real headache for electricians.
It's a regular style hole saw and arbour with an additional cutting tool which adds a small rebate to the hole. The rebate allows a flush-fitting cap to cover the hole once work is complete, leaving a flush finish to the floor.
This approach avoids damage to the structural elements of a chipboard floor. So less chance of squeaky floors.

When the metal plate sits in the chipboard floor does it have to be sealed or can the plate be put in dry and left for easy access?
