Where as the tiger population growth is showing increasing trend. అంటే 1974 లో 2.36% ఉన్న భారత మానవ జనాభా పెరుగుదల రేటు, 2020 లో 0.97% కి తగ్గిపోయింది. కానీ గతంతో పోల్చుతుంటే ఇప్పడు పులుల జనాభా పెరుగుదల రేటు మాత్రం పెరుగుతూ పోతుంది. పులుల నివాసానికి కావలసిన అడవుల శాతం మాత్రం తరిగి పోతూ ఉంది. అందుకే పులులు ఆహారం కోసం జనావాసాలపైకి వస్తున్నాయి. But there has also been an increase in human-tiger conflict recently and one reason is that India has too many tigers and too few forests that can sustain them unless more protected reserves are added.
