Lions HC Dan Campbell is THE BEST in The NFL right now and it has nothing to do with X's and O's. Campbell and his Lions TEAM just beat the snot out 2 X's and O's geniuses in McConnell and Florez, Sunday Night. Campbell's "strength" is the personal relationships that he has built with EVERY single player and coach. I try not to ever miss Campbell's press conferences or interviews. He can/will go on about a 3rd string lineman as if he was a family member. I am 100% certain that they ALL have his personal phone number and can call him at anytime, no matter what. That's huge. How many of us have worked "extra" hard for boss that you know has your back, no matter what? That's the "culture" DC has established. He gave a local radio interview after the loss to The Bills and the loss of even more important players. He took "ALL" of the blame, never ONCE criticized a player or coach and made it crystal clear that the backups should continue on because those who are injured brought "us" this far and we can't let them down. I was so fired up that I almost punched a whole in the roof of my truck. Guess what? Those remaining 2 and and 3rd string players made Vikings QB Sam Darnold look like he did a couple years ago. That Vikings victory was as much about GREAT coaching as it was great play.
