In 2006 the inner leg threaded rod was changed from a plated steel to an aluminum rod. It is true that prior to 2006, the plating on the threaded rod could possibly chip which could allow rust to form on this component. This is one of the factors that led us to upgrade that component to aluminum. Rust of any sort should never happen on any part of a FLOE Easy-Level leg. Thanks again.
Can you Retrofit a floe dock from a few years ago?
Great product but the dock legs rust and you can't adjust them after a few years.
