    Thanks for the tutorial. I took 3 days to finish the entire piece. You shares many great and new techniques that I've to go back and forth to apply it.

    I've watched a lot of videos this was the only one that helped me put mouse click to canvas. Much appreciated! Can we get one for scene creation?

    Thanks. Before watching your vid, I was using the minimal tools to make my drawings. Actually, there are a lot of properties that help to make cool effects.

    More game asset videos when? I'm trying to make cohesive assets and my art is all over the place. I'd like to see a series of creating cohesive assets if possible.

    Thank you so much, I learned a lot!! I subscribed to your channel because of this video. One question: why do you always use offsetting instead of the standard object stroke? I get that there are some things offsets can do which strokes can't, but most of the time the stroke would be sufficient, and it's easier to use. What's your opinion on the difference between offsets and strokes?

    Awesome video! I'll be checking out many more :) I am hoping you might be able to help me out with a question though :) I am trying to do a highlight how you did with the grey overlay on my image, which is a dark blue hat. When I set the blend mode to overlay it just kind of disappears though. I tried changing the color of that hat and that does seem to work then, but it's gotta be that blue! Could you please help me understand what is going on and how i might add a highlight in a similar manner to this blue hat? Thanks!

    Awesome video, just wanted to ask in what format do you export game asserts, I bought your Udemy course "Inkscape Deep Dive: Beginner to Master" I'm learning a lot from it.

    • @SweaterCatDesigns
      @SweaterCatDesigns  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! I actually just moved all of the parts so that none were overlapping, then selected them all and used the Export Dialog to export the entire selection to a single PNG file. I then imported the image into Unity and used the Sprite Editor to automatically slice the image into the different parts.

    Hello, thank you fpr this awesome vid, one question: is it possible to use clipping or masking when drawing highlights or shadows so that you dont need to trace the pen nside the border, i saw other channel (logos by nick) also do it similar to you but i can do what i described above on other app (ibis paint)

    • @SweaterCatDesigns
      @SweaterCatDesigns  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, thanks! And yes, that would be possible. After drawing a highlight/shadow path (make it go around the outside of the border), you can duplicate the path under it and use it to clip the highlight/shadow path.

    Hello, there's this problem with inkscape. When you we're picking a colour like (20%grey) and then changing blending options to overlay. well I tried it but anytime I try exporting it as an SVG file, the blending mode automatically turns back to normal and leaving it with a grey color. Let's say for example you wanted to add a shadow effect to the Viking or highlight, but each time you export it as an SVG, that shadow effect or highlight turns grey on the Viking on exporting it as an SVG. The shadow effect turns grey, and the highlight turns grey on export. why is this happening??

    • @SweaterCatDesigns
      @SweaterCatDesigns  ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you trying to use the SVG file on a website when this happens?

    • @Emp_Z21
      @Emp_Z21 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SweaterCatDesigns no not on a website, when I save it as an SVG I just open the file directly and boom there it is. Remember before you turned the Vikings part to a highlight you first turned it grey right well, that's the grey color that still appears after export. It's not exporting the highlight I used, instead it's exporting the initial grey color.

    • @SweaterCatDesigns
      @SweaterCatDesigns  ปีที่แล้ว

      That's very strange. I tried that on my computer, but the blend modes appear to still be working when I open the file. Are you opening it in Inkscape, or some other software? Also, if you don't mind me asking, what are you using the SVG file for? Would it be possible to use PNG instead?

    • @Emp_Z21
      @Emp_Z21 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SweaterCatDesigns no I just saw this video, and decided to try making a mascot logo just for practice. I tried converting the blending effect to a path but that didn't work, the PNG and jpeg export works fine. It's only the SVG and PDF that's the problem. Am using the latest version of inkscape 1.2.2

    • @SweaterCatDesigns
      @SweaterCatDesigns  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Emp_Z21 I'm not really sure. Have you tried just doing File -> Save instead of Save As? That also saves it as SVG, but in an Inkscape-specific format. If you need to use the logo on a website or game or something, it might be best to use File -> Export to convert it to PNG.

    Hi,Brandon Grant Uncle 👋🏻🤲.At once,beatiduk,creative logo 👏🏻👌🤲.My questin for you I already have the bezier tool taking different forms, for example, when I draw a straight line, sometimes it doesn't change the width, I can't zoom in or out, then after I finish the line, sometimes it becomes invisible, it can't be restored, sometimes after I finish drawing a thin line, the line suddenly grows 😔.
