Love to see the SLC content! It’s one of my favorite places to fly to and from in the sim. The lake, the mountains and the valley are just stunning, can’t imagine how awesome that must be irl. Especially now approaching the winter with all the snow in the mountains. I wish the airport was more long haul friendly though…
I flew into this airport a week ago. With the 319 iae engines from Denver. I was doing the rnav 19 approach though. About 80 miles out.. I got an fmc message that said "speed error at watro". That is the mid way waypoint on the rnav arrival. I didn't pay it much attention, my error in judgment. I came in way high and way fast. I had to do a long missed approach fix. When I came back in again I basically took over manually and got her down. Basically I did as you and lowered landing gear really early.
1:03:35 Im sorry, what ? Cold air is less dense than warm air ? I thought that the column of air you are in just gets squished so the gradient of alt change is squished as well, so that you get to the indicated alt quicker than real alt ? If we assume the same pressure at the starting point of course. So cold air should be denser than warm air. Thats why engines work better in winter, more oxygen particles to suck in for the most part.
He mixed it up. Of course Cold Air is denser than hot air, but the effect he mentions that cold air has on the altimeters is real, but not because of density
Sounds were broken, I am not at home so I took it offline and posted another one that was meant for tomorrow. I’ll rework the video when I’m back home. Probably just a wrong setting in the video editor.
Hello mano , Can you explain GWS "Control Wheel Steering" buttons that next under to autopilot buttons in PMDG 737 ! last time i was approaching madeira airport and GWS armed himself , I confused and i didn't understand this , can you explain it please ? Thank you
Hey emil, at a round 10:50 I had a few questions. Why is trip fuel green while the other values are blue? Why is the trip fuel figure shown in the MCDU different than your OFP?
All blue figures can be changed by the pilot. The green ones are calculated by the aircraft itself, based on what you entered previously. There might be some differences to the OFP since the calculations are based on slightly different values. Not every value known by the aircraft is known by dispatch as well, e.g. Emi changed the runway, which might result in a longer/shorter flighttime.
Since I’m usually recording videos during the morning or noon European time there’s just no ATC online in the states. And the lack of a booking system there makes it impossible to plan anything.
5:56 that one was unexpected 😂

Since we're currently experiencing a foggy season in Europe, would you consider creating a video on "low visibility procedures"?

I couldn't believe it when i heard him say that, impossible 😮
@@azeddineij6521i don’t think he’s a real pilot

Awesome video! Where did the first A380 long haul video go?
When tried to watch it there was no sound
Had no sound for the first 58 Minutes.

in the final loadsheet it said that PAX number is 119 plus 6.Does plus 6 refer to the amount of infants on board ?
yes
Yes
Thats gonna be a noisy flight!
@@zk9058 for sure 😂
Looking forward to the shark let mods but on the other airbuses atleast 😢
I think the boarding music is not royalty free
Were the landing calculations wrongly based on runway 19?

@ Thank you so much for the detailed explanation, things are much clearer now.
Which addon do you use for the cabin safety announcements etc in the backround?
None, they are integrated in the airplane.
have you ever considered flying on vatsim in the US?

Do you have anything? *No* Perfekt.
