Thank you for making SolidWorks surfacing tutorials. I've noticed a lack of SW surfacing tutorials online for product design, so your videos are very helpful for those of us trying to self teach.
I just finished this tutorial, thank you for making an advanced surface tutorial easier. Your teaching and tempo of each step is very good 👍 this is now my favorite CAD channel on youtube.
Hello, I wanted to take a moment to commend you on the fantastic work you're doing. Your videos are excellent and as a founder of a robotics startup and an engineer, they provide invaluable insights for us. I completely agree that it's essential to watch them in full, perhaps even multiple times, and complete the tutorials to enhance our ability to create more innovative models. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for your awesome surfacing tutorials! As an industrial designer, these have been extremely helpful. I love how you plan each design out and communicate everything. The speed of each lesson is excellent as well. There's always something to learn in each one and it's making my hybrid modeling skills get better and better! Thank you and I look forward to more!!!
thank you for the year of learning. and may this year be prosperous for you and everyone who supports your channel. Best wishes and God always in your heart
Hey my Dear, you are a avery good explainer! You speak verry nicely, what i like, and i learnd a lot from you! Tank you so much! 🙂 sometimes i cant finish yor lessen in 1 day, because i do it in my worktime, but i come back a day later, like now and finish it. Have a nice weekend!
Absolute fantastic explained - i come from Rhino3d which is cool for prototyping, but your tutorial really wants me to switch to SolidWorks ... hell, you are a great teacher! Can you maybe make a playlist for Beginners in SW, so that it's maybe easier to learn it in the right way, you think we should watch it?
I appreciate your comment. Thanks a lot, and I am glad that tutorial is helpful. I really want to create that beginner tutorial taking someone from zero to bring a substantial level of proficiency with SolidWorks. In fact, I would do it these days, but I got sick and could not record videos because my voice was completely gone. I think I will release it somewhere mid summer. Lastly , humble advice from me; pick a video, firstly just watch it, understand each step, and after watch and simultaneously build model. ( If you do it this way, 8-10 videos, you will learn a lot about the fundamentals of SolidWorks) Regards
@@3D-WorldI really wish you the best and to find your voice back. Thanks for your advice - i will follow it exactly - because you really know what you are doing, that i saw 100%. But maybe you can make out of your videos you already made, also a playlist and sort the videos you already made into beginner ... advanced ... pro, like you do it in the videotitles sometimes already. This is done very fast and without any knowledge. It will help your channel to get found from more people too! Really wish you the best for your health.
Nice explanation learned a lot today I wanna ask why at last you not used fill pattern or another way like selecting whole thing rather than individually patterning?
Great video! Thank you for this one!!! Please can you clarify some questions for me? It's hard for me to create fillet 24:40... What can you advise me in this case?
SolidWorks offered me to use "face fillet"... And after that I got there. I got what I needed (that nice 1 mm fillet), however why did it happen? There was "rebuild errors, failed to create fillet. Check input geometry and radius values or try using "face fillet" option"... Have you faced such problems?
@@3D-World Hello! Yes, I have, but it didn't help... Since it didn't work because of dimensions. While I did it, I thought that didn't depend on dimensions, and so I could make a tube a little longer... However, I couldn't. I've tried again, according only offered dimensions, and I have done it. I completed the tutorial! Thank you for your videos, I guess I'll take at least a couple of them a bit later!
Solidworks says the two surfaces have g3 continuity (built with g3 spline curves). But in surface evaluation, zebra shows a non-continuous surface. Why could this be?
I’ve just found your videos after watching many others. Great video. Drawing lines in space then using relations to attach is much less likely to be wrong 👍🏼
might give this a try during holidays. Maybe it's time to add a watermark in your video so when it's on linkedin people know. Even better I don't know if you can change the SW background with your logo!!
Those guys modeling my tutorials, and sharing on Linkedln or different platforms proudly without mentioning my name. So adding watermark or background will not help 😉 sharing and being proud about your work is totally fine, but some appreciation makes me happier. Because I am not earning money from this chanell, if I work every month 2-3 hours extra at work I will make more money than here youtube pays me.
@@3D-World ok so they are using your tutorial to make tutorial! 😆 yeah that’s harder to combat. Maybe it’s time you post of LinkedIn and other platform first.
The onlly problem Im having with your videos is that the characters are too small to follow and need to repeat numerous time to watch and follow menu choices and reason for those choices, but, THANK YOU ANYWAY

Very nice to see the use of sketch on sketch projection curve, I'll definitely be using this in the future

Thank you, I've been working with SW for 7 years now and I've learned something new. It's always interesting to see someone else's style of modeling.

Great project learned good tips 👍 ( really appreciate your contribution and clear details, I am Srilankan haha...)

Agree, I will do it in short notice.
Thanks again!
Nice explanation learned a lot today I wanna ask why at last you not used fill pattern or another way like selecting whole thing rather than individually patterning?
Maybe I wanted to have more control on the pattern; or it might be possible with the heat of the moment I forgot (fill pattern) :)
@@3D-World OK I love your detail insights and imp of each features explained
thanks for your video...
how to use split command for the same model to make hollow inside for water flow.
Welcome 😊
31:30 Can this be done with a Fill Pattern command? I am trying but failed to get the result, although it is a nice surface tutorial.👍👍
I think it is possible to use Fill Pattern.
Thanks for your comment.
Nice advanced tutorial.
Thanks for your comment, please have a look for other tutorials in my channel for advance surfacing.

Hi, Thanks for your comment.
Have you tried different options of fillet, did you model it according to the given dimensions.

Welcome Dear
Loved it! Quite informative. Thanks
How do you modeling with refletions ? What kind of scene do you using? Can you support me with that?
Hi Dear, I do not use something special, just a basic plain white background.
could a fill patern aslo have worked for the last thing you added?
It may work, however it is good on 2D, not a 3D surface.
Great video!
excelent video!
Thanks for your nice comment 😉
Great job brother, learnt a lot from it!
Welcome Dear!
Solidworks says the two surfaces have g3 continuity (built with g3 spline curves). But in surface evaluation, zebra shows a non-continuous surface. Why could this be?
Hi There,
I do not know the reason, however continuinty was not my concern during modeling.
great toutorial.
on the circular pattern you could select only the feature (revolve) and pattern it instead of selecting all the faces of the feature
Sure about it ? Would it make equal number of instancing. As you could see my instances in each diameter different.
Excellent tutorial. Please sell a course in advanced surfacing
Hi Dear,
Thanks a lot for your comment.
What kind of course will be then? I mean context and duration?
I’ve just found your videos after watching many others. Great video. Drawing lines in space then using relations to attach is much less likely to be wrong 👍🏼
thank you for your effort .
Amazing sir

Appreciate your work 👏👏
Can you tell us how to add mold library in solidworks?
Hi Dear,
Thanks for your comment.
I have never used mold items from Solidworks Library, I do not know how to add them as well.
Supper video.. Thanks
Great work, I liked the video thank you very much
Thanks Man, I am happy that you like it 😊
Nice job! Thank you 🙏
Thank you too!
Thank you very much.

Well done sir! Could you make a video on uav drone modelling ?

Can you provide 2d for practice
Sorry, I do not have it. For such models it is normal to not have a 2D.
Muito bom! Ótimo trabalho!
