There is no need for removal of the Lock carrier or what he called "radiator support." Use a longer flex head 16/18 mountain wrench to reach the 16mm tensioner without putting into service position as described in this video.

I get 458hp with stage 2 and 400 torque. I assume back then they did not have good tuning. Traction is a problem with high torque. I can't step on it hard suddenly like stock as the tires would too much wear.
@@toostock7391 It is a stage 2 tune with a smaller supercharger pulley and new belt and tuned for 93 octane. Took about 3.5 hours at the tuning shop. I am still waiting for files for dsg transmission to smooth it out and increase torque limits.
3.0 supercharged engines are good for 500 wheel with stock internals. APR makes pullies (crank pulley) and a larger throttle bottle to get to those numbers.

I have a 2015 Q7 with a 3.0TFSI engine. I want to use CRC Valve Cleaner on it but I'm not sure if I need to be bypassing any sensors in the intake stream. I've scoured Audi forums and called CRC. No help. It's now my understanding that this engine has no MAF sensor, just MAP sensors. I know what a MAF sensor is, and how it works, and how it could be damaged, but I don't know if the diaphragm in a MAP sensor would suffer a similar fate. Can you offer any guidance here? I can strip off the intake all the way back to the throttle body easily. In doing so I can see that there is no MAF sensor in the intake pipe. I know where the MAP sensors are too. They don't look like they can be bypassed. Thanks
That is the supercharger upgraded, its the supercharger belt the new pulley is smaller so spins 9% faster than stock one does. But you need a software tune to really feel the difference. Depending on what the stage 2's pulley MM is.

Please Help!!! I have a 2013 Audi A7. I hit a opossum last night going about 65 MPH busted my front bumper and it ripped the 3 pin connector out of my coolant pump. I purchased a new 3 pin connector each pin is numbered 1 2 3 but the wires are solid black. I have 3 wires dangling from the harness that goes to the pump the colors are solid RED, solid VIOLET, and RED with a WHITE stripe. Does anyone know what color goes to each specific pin number????? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Nope! BHP, just installed CTS pulley3 hours ago (smallest of them all).. I removed the supercharger which took 10 mins and installed the pulley without the hassle.
APR's Supercharger Drive Pulley Upgrade decreases the diameter of the factory pulley from ~63.25mm to 57.75mm, which in turn spins the supercharger ~9.5% faster. This, coupled with software, means more power!

Really considering this for my B8 S4. I have the GIAC stage 1 + done, but I'm concerned about the DSG. Would it hold up okay with an additional 40+ HP and TQ?
JoeyandLindsay The DSG is actually stronger than the stock 6spd when it comes to handling power. The clutch on the manuals usually weaken considerably with the added Stage II Power. The newer 2013+ DSG's are amazing.
Mine has acted up many times. The dealership always states that they "cannot duplicate" the problem, so I am left wondering when will it finally fail. I was not aware that the B8.5s had different DSGs. From my understanding, the only difference were the tune for them.
The smaller pully increases the speed of the supercharger increasing boost and HP must have a remaped ICU to add more fuel amd timing... the pulley does nothing by itself.
+Andrew Blea Without sounding too callous, No/Yes. You can certainly do whatever you want to do, but upgrading to stage 2 without the pulley is pointless and could probably cause a loss in performance. The software is tuned to work in conjunction with the pully. The software is expecting a certain amount of air from the supercharger. Without that air, I assume you would run extremely rich causing excessive carbon buildup in a relatively short period of time.

you would have to find one for your specific car, the whole stage two upgrade for this car is around 1500 which includes a tune and the necessary intake

+Znu Dzony Not from that small of an increase. Nothing needed other than the tune to take advantage of it. Stg1 and Stg2 are separate files and just installing the pulley will do nothing for you on it's own.
Canadianhuh he didn’t remove the timing belt. He removed the supercharger belt. I believe the kit comes with a new supercharger belt. No adjustment needed, just loosen the tensioner to reinstall

The dual stage locks on the car fully support closing the hood in this way. I have also seen with a lot of older (2011-...) the generally require a little more than a light push with the hood lowered to the latch anyways.

I believe 350 degrees for about an hour and a half did the trick for us.

I dont think exhaust is even included in their numbers...it only nets you around 8-10 hp anyways by itself

I would guess it's cause the stage 2 tune is more like an addon for the stage 1 tune which is why it costs a lot less

Heating it expandes the inside diameter of the pully making it slide right on so you dont have to press it on .then cools and had a friction fit

I'm not sure if they have software for the 17s, but for the 3.0T stage two is upwards of 70whp increase.

These engines have timing chains, which is located by the firewall. In the front there is an accessory belt and supercharger belt.
