I have to start doing more studies. I already draw everyday, but adding a hour of study would do wonders
@@bartonation5177 It can really make a big change over time, and an hour luckily isnt too long so you dont lose focus over other projects which became a problem for me when I studied before. I would spend all my art energy of the day on just studies. 1 Hour a day is the sweet spot for me.

It's been on my mind to do studies and return to the basics-- But then I sit down and avoid it :^) I'll manage to bully myself into it eventually...
Totally have the same! Studies are definitely a periodic thing for me, then when I do them I ask myself why I don't do it more often 😂 Setting the 1hour limit helps so much though because before I would lose hours on Studies and it doesn't feel as productive.
I love studies, well It depends on the studies 😂 I'm at the moment planning on light study, but after this video I think it's time to learn drapes, because the way you did them is WOAH

amazing progress, even though you were already a pretty great artist before the studies you really did yourself a favor with these studies. superb. Im currently 12 days into my figure studies challenge. im 180 figures in

@@Clockweiz you're very welcome. Yeah it sounds like a lot but im only doing 30 minutes a day of figure studies, I feel like I should do more time but the risk of burnout might be there, better safe than sorry! Anyways sorry to ramble, have a good one.
@@thyh7577 Yeah its good to limit yourself a bit to avoid burn-out, the fact you're consistently doing something already is a big win and the results will show so yeah definitely better be safe than sorry. And no worries, I tend to ramble myself and enjoy it. Good luck on your journey!
