Are these rations once a day or how many ration per day? I have found that one ration a day per each weight the steer is still hungry, balling for more.

It was OK but what I was hoping for is a list of ration options and the estimate gain for the SAME animal.
Option 1. 5# hay, 0.75#/day gain
Option 2. 3# Hay, 1# Distillers grains =1.3#/day gain
Option 3. 3# Hay, 1# Distillers grains, 0.2# supplement, =1.5#/day gain
Option 4. 3# Hay, 2# alfalfa =1.5#/day gain
Etc...
