I really loved your videos on the serpent crown saga! The crown being in each multiverse then the cosmic cube comes along and just fixed everything like a dues ex machina 👌.
My Friend another story you did an excellent job on was The Eternal’s and you went down a road that a lot of comic books fan do not like talking about Good one My Friend
Good stuff so far, but one tiny mistake. That's not Goliath fighting Subby at 14:40. That's another strong Avenger, the mighty Hercules. Still, I think he's way more likable at that point in time than either of Marvel's Goliaths, the Hank Pym original or the Clint Barton knockoff.
Did I miss one? Sometimes I will confuse those two. I often double check my scripts when they show up to ensure I dont make this mistake. And both were in this issue.
@@Cosmic.Comics Also, there was another minor mistake. In Avengers #40, it was Hercules that accused Namor of seeking the Cosmic Cube, not Goliah. Also, I often wondered how the Cube was able to reach the surface of the earth, after it landed @ the Mole Man's feet, and he discarded it, mistaking it for a toy block. Perhaps it was the volcano that caused it to rise to rise to the earth's surface, where the poor man found it, and again where it eventually came into the possession of the Red Skull.
Red Skull didn't make him kill himself, just take KRAK very loudly. Also, what if they brought that AIM scientist back from that other dimension. Think of the possibilities.
Did Loki's scepter ever have a comic book counterpart (I mean, besides the Mind Gem)? Or was it exclusively for the MCU? 14:07 Hey! I have that exact same issue!
When I was first discovering the Captain America stories in the Marvel Essentials volumes, the introduction of the Cosmic Cube blew my little mind. It was like Aladdin's genie, but with unlimited wishes, and in a cool geometric form. Its MCU downgrade into merely one of a set of six objects was seriously disappointing to me, to say the least. Not to mention its power nerf. Now only able to open wormholes? Not bad, but one of only a very slight few MCU details I have been let down by over the past decade. Those movies otherwise have a simply stellar track record of nailing the feel of the comics, at least those of the Bronze to Modern Age.
Love early cosmic cube - I remember having my mind blown the first time Marvel showed a pile of them. Also wondering if they had maybe jumped the shark.
Considering the cosmic cube predated the infinity Stones and Gauntlet by about 2 decades I’m not surprised it’s history was downgraded as happens fairly often with comics
I think Red is scared & respects Captain America! The many times he had the chances to obliterate Cap. It's like Joker 🃏 & Batman, those 2 boys 👬 💙 their respected wedgie Masters!!
That’s Good I like your story you did on the serpent crown especially part with Neptune & you are right he did sucker punch him but it’s Set the olympians are no match for a elder god then again set would have sucker punch Poseidon lol
Gene Colan's stretch on Cap was GREAT.
Iam new here. Enjoying old school comic book history here. Wish more people did this. Thank for every thing
Thanks! Slow to make vids in Summer as i work long hours outside but lots more coming.
@@Cosmic.Comics it's all good. we all have sturggles. It's. good to look back somestimes.
I have to admit I wish I could have the Cosmic Cube for just a little while!
There is a secret rule in all comics that other hero's can't interfere with heroes and their main enemies.
Very good. This is awesome. Love your knowledge base. You should do these in theaters.
Ow yeah, gonna sit down and enjoy this!

Awesome work, made me reread my older books.
Keep on doing these story they are awesome
Finished writing the next video just a few minutes ago.
They did the cosmic cube dirty in the MCU.
We'll probably see it for reals later on.
O Alonzo A yeah, like Twenty years down the line when most people have forgotten what the space stone looked like
Groovy...

The Red Skull & the cosmic cube, so much power ,so little understanding of how to use it

Not that I am aware of but I haven't read up on all things Asgardian.
Edit: oh? That's a good issue to have!

Didn't reach its potential until Thanos took control of it. Adam Warlock returned from death and turned him into stone.

2:43 HIPAA didn’t exist back in the 60s/70s
True that
More long old DC spectre videos
