I watch you two all the time I live in Rehoboth Delaware I wish I had places like you guys have . But you guys are great to watch . Keep them coming learn a lot from you guys. Thanks
Hello Cole,Jay and Cypress. I'm glad that you and your family's made it through that nasty weather this past week. Thank you for sharing this video and it was nice seeing all of you in the video alone with your babies ( your puppies). As always stay safe have fun and may God continue to bless you and your family's ❤ 🙏 🇺🇲
Fun video once again. Cypress is so dang cute! May I share... never let them within reachable distance of any machinery or dangerous things like the hot cooking oil. You can train them not to touch on many lesser worries. They can learn this. But at this age they can be lightning quick before you can react in time. I've seen it with one of my own daughters. I just had to remind you and others. Give them distance. I hope you take this in the spirit of how I give it. God bless all here.
Hey guys,as always another great video,it would be awesome to have a table or something up off the porch to sit the dryer on,with it being up,Bear couldn't reach it,just a thought.
I've been waiting for your next video. Thank you for doing a spillway trip. I retired in February hoping to get back to fishing, unfortunately my wife's mom is not doing well and we are taking care of her. Your videos are such a blessing to us. God bless you guys
Another great video. Thanks for showing us all your techniques and lures. Cypress is getting so big and he is so cute. Which hydro is this one? It looks familiar but I cant make it out for sure. Im glad yall didnt get any damage from the storms. We got hit by lightning and are dealing with that at this time. Keep them coming.
No problem with less videos this week. There is no scene going out in nasty weather. I fully understand. I know you both are good parents. But seeing the lake so close to you back yard gave me a chill. I worry about Chi getting too close to the water. But, I know you guys watch him all the time when he is outside. Your family is a part of my family. Luv you all. Thanks. PS: I tell everyone I see about you guys. Hope it helped.
Thats alright life gets hectic sometimes don't worry about it if you couldn't make a video for a month your true fans would still be here when you all made a video Cole and Jay stay cool warm and safe we appreciate your time and dedication thank you 🙂👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
@@COLE_and_JAY It was! I If you get down here again with your kayak I've got some awesome spots to catch all kind of species, or I'm always down to surf fish too! If you're ever in the area again and need someone to fish with, let me know!
Snow yesterday!!!! Melted today, caught a couple bass, and some nice bluegill and hybrids Saturday. Until I couldn’t feel my hands anymore! Finally going to warm up later this week in Michigan. They’re catching walleye in the Detroit river. My boats a little small for that but will take it out for the first of the season looking for crappie this weekend. Nice catch Cole👍
My wife and I lost our sweet little Diva dog not quite 2 weeks ago. Diva Daisy was 14 years old. Her will was still strong, but her little body and heart was giving out on her. We had to do the right thing. She was in pain. It's never an easy thing, but it's the right thing.
@@COLE_and_JAY And yet, the crazy thing is that we continue to adopt fur babies and get very attached to them! It's like we can't help ourselves or protect ourselves from the pain of separation. I've lived over half a century now. I don't think that I'll ever understand this. Yet, I know that I'll probably do this again.
This is my kind of vicarious fun, love random species... especially ones not in the Great Lakes. Stuff happens I can wait and doing YT isn't more important.
If you will fillet that drum with removing the out side skin and scales. Put butter, garlic powder and onion powder generously and throw that on the grill, you will thank me later!
Were is Jay today? Is that the Ohio? Boy it's good you're not on the Yellowstone because with the record spring runoff it's really flooding. You guys are so lucky to have found such a Wonderful wife. Take care and be safe.
I have a friend that uses, skip jack, white bass and blue gill for catfish bait. He cuts the skip jack up for bait and use the white bass ( as bait he cuts up or if it is small he uses the white bass and blue gill as live bait.
Hey Cole , we are in Georgia but it sounds like your weather has been a lot like ours. If it's not raining it's really windy. Just that time of year. The weather will settle down in a few weeks and you and Jay will be good to go😊
Hi Cole, Jay and Cy! You didn't show us the Citrus seasoning you used. Next time you try it please use it again, a little heavier and let us know how it tastes. And if it is good let us know what it is LOL. I love lemon or lime on my fish, I would think maybe it would be tasty, just need to use more of it. Thank you. God bless
You'd really love our fishing area...research Ross Barnett Reservoir in Jackson, MS.. Bass tournaments are held here quite often plus the spillway here provides a variety of fish.
@@COLE_and_JAY Think I'd be mesmerized if yall ever showed up in my neck of the woods. The crappie here are starting to move into spawn stage...and on a good note the limit here is 30 a day, no size limit either.
My wife and I went to Louisiana for our anniversary last week and on our way back to Indiana we got beat up by hail in Osceola Friday night. I think the radio said there was a tornado on the ground as we drove through!
Did I miss a video where you said who you sent the Tackle Box to as we suppose to fallow it from fisher person to the next fisher person??? As it is spark interest in your fishing friends or favorite show so we can gain interest in their channel.... If you need bait keep the white bass heads instead using them for fertilizer in the garden.... Hi Cy!!!! Lo Jay ( stupid pun on celeb name)!!! Happy Easter you all!!!
I would like to know what kind of knot you use for the fluorocarbon to braid connection and how you feel about monofilament as a leader for braided line?
I use an Alberto knot! It works great and we will often use mono as a leader when fishing like this. Pretty much always use fluoro when largemouth fishing thiugh
@@COLE_and_JAY Cool thank you for the tip on the large mouth tip. I am getting better with my bait caster reel with the 6th Sense frog on it and really looking forward to catching one on it!!!!
Have you ever eaten those smaller white bass? They usually don't have any red strip in the meat, compared to bigger whites and they seem to be alot less oils.
Our gardens got pretty bad destroyed in the hail storm we had, but we are working on getting them back in shape! We will definitely be sharing our gardens with yall
Hey buddy I did 5bass and 2bluegill with a knife like that is there a way to sharpen it and it felt really warm when I got done thanks from big bass billy
It’s just whatever your preference is! For casting like this we generally prefer a 7ft + sized rod but we also will use shorter rods too. We like the leverage you can get on the fish with a longer rod.
Those dogs are chubby 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻Awsome video.

It sure is fun to be catching constantly.

Nice to see the dogs again. Wondering how the Turtles are after all that bad weather. Take care, lil family!
The turtles stayed inside for the storm so they are doing great!
I liked the rig you were using . Lots of ways to rig that and you showed how you tied it. Great video
Thanks Craig!

I love you guys l pray for you wife and baby boy this is from Mississauga, Ontario
Thank you so much!
Nice as always. I hope there wasn't too much bad damage from that weather. So were those white bass full of rowe or bait fish?
Been awhile since Jay has bitten by a snake. Lol
Cheers from the great state of Arkansas!!

Weather sucks everywhere except Florida this time of year! Feel your pain
Luckily we are heading to Florida next week!

Nice video!! 👍 Did you choose someone to send the traveling tackle box too?
If you can find a good teacher, you might consider isr, for cypress.
Learning to swim at a early age would be huge being on the water like you are🎣
Luckily for us, Jay used to be a lifeguard and teach swim lessons 😃
I'm a fan enjoy watching and always be safe
Knew you guys were getting pounded by storms and potential tornadoes 🌪! Then the cold afterwards. We had a freeze warning where I live.
Yall should try some Drum. Fillet it and cut out the red. Cook it as if it were catfish. Fry it. Let me know what you think.

Usually 3-4 hours. But also we get a few days a week where we go 7-8 hours
weirdest weather we’ve had the past couple of weeks 😂. good thing it’ll be warmer this week so it’ll be good fishing!
