There is nothing like falling for a VW beetle! My 1969 little red Beetle, Rose, is my constant companion. 16 yrs now and my final one! I'm happy to see you love your little Ruby.❤️
Incredible!!! I have a 57 year old, in Brazil, from 1966, and the feeling of going out just to drive a little is unbeatable. ❤
Reminds me of my trip back in the early 80.s. Drove a 62 ragtop vw, to Cabo San Lucus. No engine issues at all. I recall we were at beach. I was bored so I rebuilt the carburetor just because. We had a good time, when to smaller towns to meet the people. We were treated very good. Lots of good memories. Thx,theduck
Bravo! You have style!!!...and must be incledibly brave, really!!!
Awesome. I've just bought a 1973 1303... good luck with your adventures!
Love the video! Keep them coming!
Half a century old beetle is still more reliable car than 50 percent of new ones, unfortunately new VW's included.
Yea please do make a video on documentation. Btw. Get rid of the non standard Air Filter assembly and go back to the original ones . They’re more weather proof and filtrate better. Enjoying your video. Wishing you all the best from The Philippines. 👍👍👍🥂🥂🥂👏👏👏
Had a 1974 super one in high school and bought it brand new, wish to get one again and drive it , had lots of good memories driving it
Keep the content coming. New sub here.
Awesome wish I had the courage to a trip like that .
I loved the video ❤️❤️❤️
Nice ride. 💯💯👍👍❤️
um abraço aqui de Olinda Brasil
My beetle just turned 50. Have fun always❤️
Yes it would be nice to have this information, buying and registering it with a tourist visa.
halo is infinite, doom is eternal, but the beetle is forever
Yes, I would like to know how to buy and register a vehicle in Mexico as a tourist. Thanks.
Very nice trip 🇲🇫👍😊
You would be better off removing the points and installing a Pertronix electronic ignition and high energy coil, especially if you're going to be in remote areas with the car. It's a very easy drop-in install and you never set points ever again and you get much hotter spark from the spark plugs. After that I would just keep an extra Pertronix ignition kit in the glove box in case it ever failed.
It looks very clean, beautiful. Did you purchase from a dealer or a private seller?
How ruby running?
Are you driving the beetle barefoot?
Pero te hubieras ido desde Tijuana.
Love what you do . Please do not use God's name in vain.
Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned
from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the
Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025
on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas
station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station fuel
pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in
the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems,
turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and
New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be
done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of
crime here, called "Abgasbespaßung". :-(((!
I'll believe it when I see it...
Jep, and lizzards will take over ...
I really doubt that'll happen
And as far as I know, only the PRODUCTION of gas cars will be banned, but owning them will still be legal
My grandparents had a VW station wagen. The motor was in the back and the floor felt warm . The trunk was in the front. Not much cushion on the seats. Long rides were torture as the discomfort meant once you arrived it took awhile for the backside to regain feeling.
