I'll also buy this OBD reader, it looks very solid. I also had a VDC error that occurred random if I pressed the brake . When the VDC error occurred cruise control did not work. Then changed the clutch switch with the new and the error is gone. Five minutes of work and €10. I have Alfa Romeo 159 JTDM Qtronic and only clutch switch. Maybe you should change the clutch switch and the brake switch together, because you have a manual gearbox, the switches are directly under the wheel and they are cheap 20€ both. I think this will solve your problem with VDC failure. Thanks for your great content.
hi, VDC ? what is that is it about selespeed? I have a 159 2.2 selespeed trying to calibrate the clutch.. I'm looking for an interface ...like this one but no selespeed on the menu . Cheers:)
Best tool i have bought.Wondering if the maf has been contaminated by the new air intake,a lot of forum posts seem to suggest this can be a downside of aftermarket air filters?
This is what happened to my GT JTD. The last owner put a K+N cone filter on and the car felt sluggish. Even weirder it felt like there was less power with your foot all the way down than at halfway. After cleaning the MAF it was a completely different car. It now has the stock air I take setup because it's pretty good on these cars anyway.
I'm strugling connecting to the ecu with a elm327 bluetooth (cheap) on my 159 2.2 . I think I'll get one of these. But I didn´t see anything about the gearbox in yours, does it has anything about calibrating the clutch? cheers:) good videos man:)
hi, i 've got a GT 2.0 JTS (2005) with some fuelproblems. Low fuel pressure in cilinder 2 and 4. Do you have any video's on where to find the injectors and how to replace them?
@@Imperfectgarden no. Unfortunately I couldn't find any videos on this subject for the gt. I have a e-learning manual, but it's not really detailed about the steps to take and where to find the injectors. Like a treasure hunt haha. I think they are at the lower back side of the engine.

Use MultiECUScan licence and a laptop. You'll need ELM327 for Alfa.

Exactly! That was my first thougght too, tomorrow I will clean the sensor and see if this is the problem.

Patrick's overview is spot on so check the wiring as you have been doing a lot of work near the maf.
