I use to also be a atheist. There use to be a time where my definition of God was basically mother nature. But then one day I had a spiritual dream where as I was visited by a spiritual force. And within that dream I seen a vision of that dark side(it was like a warning). In which things were revealed to me that I didn't know, and had never learned. But yet college psychology teaches that your dreams come from your subconscious, and anything in your subconscious would first had to have entered into your brain through the conscious. So how could I have been given truth in my dreams that I never learned in my conscious unless it was from an outside force. And with that in mind I know(not believe) that there are higher forms of life(call them God & angels/ the devil & demons, or whatever you want to call them). But no I am not a true follower of no religion, and no religious book. I just know that higher powers exist, and you better respect them.

Golf balls that were different colors such as White ones, and Yellow ones. In which keep in mind as a 15 year old I use to collect golf balls(as a golf caddy) that I kept in a shoe box, and under a couch in the basement. But anyway about 3 months later after the golf ball dream my mother told me that she had got some golf clubs. And that her, and her girl were going golfing, or wanted to go golfing. So she asked me did I have any golf balls left from back when I use to golf caddy. Following that I went into the basement, and went under the couch to pull out some golf balls that I hadn't seen in years. And as I searched through the White, and Yellow golf balls I thought to myself I've did this before. I mean I was wearing the same exact clothes that I had in the dream; the different colored golf balls were arranged in the exact same order as the dream; I was in the same exact kneeled position as the dream(as I searched through the shoe box for golf balls). I mean everything was picture perfect from that present reality, and the dream from 3 months prior.

In which we were all there while taking a written test, or something. But anyway as I took this test I got bored so I looked out the window. And not too long after that I woke up. So maybe about 2 months, and some weeks later I'm at a shopping mall where I was approached by 2 Marine recruiting agents. In which they asked me if I wanted to join the Marines, and I said yes. One of them then gave me his card, and said to call him so I could take this test. I next called the recruiting station, and went up there to take a test in this real small room. But anyway I passed that practice test so the recruiter gave me the info. to go to the place to take the real test. And once I got there I witnessed a big classroom that was filled with, or later was filled with young White, and Black male teenagers. In which we all were given the test to take. And as I took the test I got bored so I looked out the window. Not too long later I thought to myself I've done this before. I mean that classroom was identical to the one in my dream; the students in the classroom were identical to the ones in my dream; the clothes I was wearing were the same as the ones in my dream; and the same exact way I turned to look out the window was the same in my dream. I mean everything was picture perfect.
All of Jesus life and his journey in this world as a man was an experience to show us how to live like Christ so his teachings were in fact Christianity being a Christian will never be easy because you’ll suffer and be persecuted for live but I’m willing to lay my life for my king lord Jesus just the way he layed his life for me.

I don’t know about the “Christianity is the white enslaver’s religion” philosophy. I’ve read that in Africa there were Muslims enslaving blacks before white Christians did - and continued doing so after the latter stopped. Also, Christianity was one of the many religions practiced in Africa before the Transatlantic slave trade.

I can't even take this sentiment serious. I respect all religious beliefs but how a black man criticizes Christianity as a "slave religion" but champions Islam as freedom is beyond me. Let's deal with facts, the Transatlantic Slave trade was one of the worst in Earth history, lasting about 300 years. However, the Arab Muslim slave trade lasted 14 centuries, even til this day. They viewed blacks as inferior as well; they burdened the men with hard labor/torture, used the women as sex slaves, all while forcefully converting them to Islam. In past times, while the Middle East and a good portion of Northern Africa was being converted to Islam by the Ottoman Empire, the Roman Catholic Empire was conquering Europe and parts of the Eastern World. During their vastly successful conversion period, they realized they forgot about what they considered the "dark continent" and set their sights on Africa in the Middle Ages. Africa gave the biggest challenge and was the most reluctant to conform to the ways of the Roman Catholics, largely due to ancient spiritual beliefs or strong Islam influence. This is why the Transatlantic slave trade was so harsh; it was a form of revenge for their rebellion. That being said, it's completely ignorant to our ancestors to champion Islam as the juxtaposition to the "white mans religion". Might I add, Christianity is the evolution of Judaism. Whereas Catholicism and Islam are just an evolution of previous beliefs in sun and moon worship.
