- Review of the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship V5 official replica from New Japan Pro Wrestling. I've only seen bootleg versions on TH-cam, so I figured I'd throw this up

Never understood the hate for this belt, might be my second favorite belt outside the v4
I think it’s because they swapped probably the best belt of all time for this one …which isn’t a patch on it
Anything that replaced the V4 was going to draw the ire of fans given how beloved it is, unfortunately. The V3 is mine, followed by the V4 and this one. It's definitely grown on me
What an awesome belt. That stinks about the snaps too because that strap is too good to have it essentially ruined by a poor choice in the snap design.
I could have sworn that this belt had belt tips on both ends.
I wouldn't say the snaps ruin it, but I also don't disagree; they aren't optimal. It just makes a releather job more enticing
Personally i prefer the iwgp v5 prototype that christian of belt performance made in 2016 before he retired in 2019

The hate for this version of the Title is absolutely pathetic. As a matter of fact, I actually like this version of the Title. I predict that at some point this version of the Title is going around the waist of NJPW Legend and NJPW fan favorite The Stone Pitbull Tomohiro Ishii because he deserves it after everything he's done in NJPW
Quality is great, but it should be since it’s close to the price of a real belt. The yen rate has kind of made it a little more affordable for those of us in Japan, but I’ll personally go for the v4 (which is oddly 5万円 cheaper).

Yeah, the original price, in my opinion, is justifiable since the quality of the plates is magnificent. The inflated price of the second run is too high. But I don't blame you, I definitely plan on getting a V4 in the future. Regardless, both are absolute winners!

IMO new japan shouldve shouldve kept the sideplates with the nameplates along with their reigns, theres still 1 more space for a nameplate atm (only 31 wrestlers won it)
I would love to own that replica title. Just to have a New Japan title in my small collection.
