For those asking about the WORLD banner. I probably should have subtitled the reasoning as it certainly does look like I just forgot to attach it! When I Releather these Winged Eagles I prefer to glue the banner in place because with the screws left in place they create really large bumps in the back of the leather that just look a bit ugly. By gluing it in place and not using the screws the back looks a lot tidier in my opinion 😁👍🏻

I agree, I can say from experience when I took the winged eagle to the WWE LIVE show a few weeks ago in Newcastle, that my shoulder was sore afterwards because the screws where teh "WORLD" banner was actually pressed against it really hard.

I was just wondering who I could get in contact with to get a custom stamp made for the snap box areas like the black one you used if you are willing to give out that information. Just watching this video again, after watching the other belt makers I have seen on TH-cam, I still think your channel produces the best overall videos. My favorite belt of all time is the WWF intercontinental belt of the late eighties. However, it doesn't feel right without the WWF logo on it, same for the Tag and Winged eagle. I am not sure if I want to press my luck with a knockoff because it might turn out real bad, however, I have seen reviews of really good ones. The dual plated belts are really amazing with their ability to show off detail. Love the channel and if I can find the right belt I may buy it and send it to you for a custom strap.

Gives myself and others such an appreciation of the work that goes into the re-leathering. For my money, the winged-eagle is THE crown jewel of title-belts and this one looks beautiful!

By any chance did you ever film the comparison between the current WWE Shop dual plated Winged Eagle and the recalled release with the misspelled HEAVYWEIGHI banner? I binged the last year’s worth of your videos and realized I don’t think I ever saw a comparison between the two.

God you're an artiste and I love the way that you create that strap from scratch. The tooling is amazing and I wish I had the money for you to redo the strap from my step dad's belt that we had when we had a company called XWA = Xtreme Wresting Alliance in Florida.
The custom additions to titles are what we actually want on TV but WWE never listens instead Paul custom titles are better

It bugs me that the area around "heavyweight" isn't painted. When this belt debuted before Wrestlemania 4, the wings didn't hang over the leather. The top of the strap was rounded like the bottom and the center plate fit entirely. The wingtip touched the tooling a bit but didn't hang over the strap.

What tool did you use to remove the plates from the simulated strap? I’m interested in buying one for my Undisputed WWE Championship Belt (2023) but a bit nervous as to how I’d remove the plates from the stock strap since it’s covered on the back 😅
The tool Paul used is a specific hole punch, but it’s a dedicated leather tool that’s not necessary, all you need is a sharp blade and to cut in a square (to avoid damaging the screw head) around the screw, peel it back, unscrew and voila, job done.
