Ja! altough I am ok with german companies manufacturing overseas, I trust germans nothing is better than german company, german design und Deutscher Hergestellt !
You'd be surprised with the amount of companies which manufacture products in China. The companies producing these products will stamp made in ******** for whomever they batching out orders for.
I just bough a couple today, I used one few hours ago, it cuts very nice, so easy with utmost precision. They go to my Knipex tools collection.

What if you are unable to dismantle wire in a socket like shown? With Jokari you can cut the insulation with the blade on the 45deg, with knipex the blade is in middle of the tool so you are stuck. Please improve your tools by adding 45deg blade like Jokari 15.

I work alot with a cable named Belden 9873, it consists of 3 twisted pairs each with separate foil shielding, the result is that you very easily break the foil sheets when dismantling the cable with a regular knife or something, can you set the depth the dismantling works by? So it doesn't cut through the inner foils (the main outer isolator is quite thin i may add!)

It is not possible to adjust the cutting depth of the dismantling blades of the ErgoStrip to an individual stripping situation.
However, the blade depth at the short side of the ErgoStrip is set for thin insulation.
Dismantling activities on Data cables with a very thin mantle have been always successful in our tests and demonstrations using this tool the following way:
• position the ErgoStrip on the cable
• turn the ErgoStrip about 120° applying only very light pressure on the shell so that the mantle is only scratched but not cut in full depth
• open the shell by thumb pressure inside the short shell
• slip the ErgoStrip about 5 mm outwards
• angle the cable end by + 20 ° with the ErgoStrip (to break the mantle)
• use the ErgoStrip as a pulling device to remove the mantle
Used this way the ErgoStrip removes very thin mantles of data cables without any damage to inner shielding foils and shielding mesh.

what's it like for fp200

As there are hundreds of different cable designs we are very sorry that we do not know sometimes if a certain tool is applicable for a certain cable.
We have not tested the ErgoStrip with FP 200 cables.
Those FP 200 cables are round cables with an outer diameter between 9 and 12 mm and the thickness if the insulation looks concerning its proportions similar to a NYM- cable, so there is a good chance that the ErgoStrip is applicable for FP 200 cable.
