I just hate the demon ending...why will you destroy the entire Universe? Why ur gonna be Lucifer's ally? What you will gain by destroying The Great Will? I played this game twice and Kagutsuchi was the final boss of the two of them, because of the happy ending.

More so that everyone else around demi-fiend is just objectively worse and were never there for him, where as Lucifer was. +Leafia Barrett Nekomata's not the worst you could have. In my book, if they have Recarm or any other type of healing abilities, they're keepers for my team.
Recarm is a pretty important skill to have. I just wish the game would allow you the chance to use it on your main character if he dies in combat. But then again, considering your character is the only one that can summon in this game, it would mean the battle would be lost regardless.
Fight Lucifer in the Hardtype hack, he will actually bend you over... In the normal game it just takes awhile to exahust his hp, but in the Hardtype, he has mega elemental attacks, so it becomes a really hard fight. Kagutsuchi also puts up a good fight. Unlike in the base game, where Kagustuchi is a pushover.
Go hard but in the Chronicles version, in the last phase, he actually heals himself to full with Diarahan if you don't kill him quickly. Taking notes from Satan, I see.
Unfortunately, he can technically be exploited with Repels because he takes the full damage from his own attacks making him pretty trivial. But going in without Repels, then yeah.

Two demons that are hardcore slept on for the Lucifer fight are Lachesis and Futomimi. At endgame, you can fuse most demons with whatever moveset you want on them with a little work. Given that Lucifer has access to all three types of status effects (mind, curse, and nerve) and getting hit with one is crippling, you really only care about demons immune to all status ailments and no elemental weaknesses for lucifer to get extra press turns off of (of which Lachesis and Futomimi are the best options). Round it out with Dante/Raidou or a Surt with Pierce and Void Curse. This has been a PSA for anyone as insane as me to attempt a Hard TDE as their first playthrough (my first playthrough was also completely blind, got tde on accident. do not play this game blind on hard)
Yeah, I used Futomimi for his resistances and he had war cry and mediarama. Black Frost for his resistances and extra buffing/debuffing. Then Raidou for provoke and extra damage. Solid team, but still very scary when he started using Root of Evil

At the time I only had like 4 endgame party characters (Dante, Pixie, Black Frost and Harlot). Then I had a Titania, a Quetzacoatl, a Loki, Matador, Daisoujou, a Mothman, a Pyro Jack and a plain Jack frost lol

The true True Demon ending is finally beating Lucifer on Hard after dying a million times; you're treated to a secret ending where it's revealed that the Great Will is actually RNG.
You know... Nocturne 3 True Demon Ending ends with Protagonist preparing a demon army to fight against YHVH... Too bad that part isn't expanded as sequel nor DLC. So far the game that fights YHVH directly came from SMT 2 and 4A.
i got here with the super pixie, dante and mada. no one had any physical skill and only pierce on hitoshura. so i was doing like 500 damage per turn. a lot of this battle was just praying that the healer pixie would not get muted or else it'd be a wasted round. again. pixie does suck but i wanted to beat the game with her and dante. i wanted the coolest team, except that i got mada for debilitate. i got it for just the final boss because i hadnt needed it until then. so i grinded up like 3 levels and fused mada. on normal you dont need to grind for more than like 6 hours overall, if you go do the optional stuff like tamonten and amala.
My team was Demi-fiend, Pixie, Black Frost, and Futomimi. Pixie and Futomimi both had Debilitate, but Black Frost was really only there because he's my favorite demon and to pass turns. He did have Makakaja though, and at +4/-4 Futomimi's fire boosted Prominences could do some respectable damage.
my plan is demi fiend physical with pierce, beelzebub fly with pierce and a ope physical attack, a mettatron with debilitate and the giga pixie, i say plan because i haven't gotten there yet

I’m fighting Lucifer with only Dante and Futomimi in my squad. I’m bringing Futomimi along cuz of some semblance of revenge on Chiaki, who slaughtered his people. He wants to make a world where Maniquins can live in peace so I bring him along knowing I’m about to end everything, but he’s stuck fighting Lucifer now. And Dante is there realizing wtf he had done helping me in my venture XD. True Demon For Sure.
As a note. In Chronicles, where Raidou replaces Dante, at the end kf the game, there is a message from Gouto to Narumi about what they know of Demi-Fiend and Lucifer
I usually give the bosses a dry attempt to see what works, then come back more prepared. With them, though, it took forever but somehow managed to drain all their MP, and then the fight was basically won lol
Beat this guy with a primary physical build on my Demi Fiend, that reached over level 99 (complete with Tarukaja, Focus and Freikugel). With me, I had Dante (my other main attacker, with Provoke and Stinger), Queen Mab (my Healer, evolved from the Uber Pixie I found in the 5th Kalpa), and a severely underlevelled Arahabaki (my main buffer/buff remover) who I had to keep reviving.
How difficult is this fight? I didn't get the TDE on my first playthrough and I'm working on fighting him in new game+, so I'm looking for tips on what skills and demons I should have for the fight.
@@QueerWebs question. Do you get healed between fights? And does the game save between them, or do you have to redo the entire Kagutsuchi boss fight if you lose
@@miguelrebocho1171 you do get healed after kagatsuchi, but if you lose against lucifer you have to fight kagatsuchi again. But kagatsuchi it's an easy fight so it shouldn't be a problem
Root of Evil is one of the most cheesy and op skills I've seen in the entire franchise, and he also tends to follow it up with his almighty attack that has high crit chance that if happens to hit you twice it's game over 🙃

I usually give the bosses a dry attempt to see what works, then come back more prepared.
With them, though, it took forever but somehow managed to drain all their MP, and then the fight was basically won lol
Beat this guy with a primary physical build on my Demi Fiend, that reached over level 99 (complete with Tarukaja, Focus and Freikugel).
With me, I had Dante (my other main attacker, with Provoke and Stinger), Queen Mab (my Healer, evolved from the Uber Pixie I found in the 5th Kalpa), and a severely underlevelled Arahabaki (my main buffer/buff remover) who I had to keep reviving.

How difficult is this fight? I didn't get the TDE on my first playthrough and I'm working on fighting him in new game+, so I'm looking for tips on what skills and demons I should have for the fight.

@@QueerWebs question. Do you get healed between fights? And does the game save between them, or do you have to redo the entire Kagutsuchi boss fight if you lose
@@miguelrebocho1171 you do get healed after kagatsuchi, but if you lose against lucifer you have to fight kagatsuchi again. But kagatsuchi it's an easy fight so it shouldn't be a problem

Root of Evil is one of the most cheesy and op skills I've seen in the entire franchise, and he also tends to follow it up with his almighty attack that has high crit chance that if happens to hit you twice it's game over 🙃
