Did I Catch Enough? | Hawaii Kayak Fishing Tournament | Jigging

What an amazing tournament with a bunch of amazing people!
This was my second kayak fishing tournament and boy was I excited! There's just something about competing against some of Hawaii's best on the kayak.
My game plan was similar to last tournament, with a strong emphasis on jigging while trolling opelu (live bait) at the surface. Well..... I certainly executed my plan and it tuned out to be one of my most productive days on the water, and the first day with multiple shibi.
Launch time was 4:30am, and weigh in at 2:00pm so I had ample time to get bait, jig, and troll around. Bait was pretty tough this trip, only managing to pick up a few, but that's all I needed to get fish in the boat.

Finally moving from shore fishing to Kayak, only went out of North Shore and Electric Beach . . . . still extremely new and don't want to die. Any tips or things you wish you knew when you started? I'm thinking about going Pokai bay soon, seems like the best option for wind and waves.
