My girl!!! Feels good to be back! Can’t wait to catch up on your videos!! Oooooooo the reactive red and soft red with the flux would probably be gorgeous! Might be a little softer than my LOUD bowl 😂😂😂 without a stroke and coat? Yes! Mason stain duh - I had a brain fart 💨 been dealing with poison ivy all over me 😔 but I mix a little mason stain powder in water …shake it up or mix well w brush. It will be very watery ..then a light wipe back. Sometimes I don’t even wipe it back because it’s so faint and I go over it 5x 😂 depending on the color! I’m thrilled w this kiln!!! Love you girl 😘
I love you pottery . I especially like how organized you are with your notes in your pieces. It's such a pleasure after watching people fumble around and then make guesses.
I love you and all your treasures! You are a treasure. These are sensational!!!! Those second Mr. & Mrs. are out of this world. I love that you matched the wedding colors. What a great idea. I adore your range. You are not afraid to try things out. Thank you for sharing the magic with all of us. Happy throwing and towing. I love you guys! LMAO: I don’t know why Matt doesn’t like them, his hands are enormous. Or something like that. Fun, fun, funny!

Yay!!!!!! Omg so glad u loved it!!!! I can’t wait to try the rainbow on plates and bowls 😍 oh and guess what? I will do a demo video…haven’t used them yet but I’m about to!
I am so thankful you are inspired by my glazes! My husband teared up a little bit when I showed him your shout out and then sent this to his whole family hahaha
@@katlady5000 I wonder if I should just order like 4 to start - so tell me more. Like if a pot sticks pretty bad, it doesn’t stick to the shelf at all?! How about grinding a runny pot?
@@thehappyhomesteadnh It doesn't stick at all. However the glaze can boil and have bubbles it in. To Grind I use 8 inch grinding discs on my wheel to wet sand it. I start with 80 grit to get the glaze off then switch to 120 and 240 to get the bottom smooth. I used a chamois towel that I cut in a circle and got wet to attach the grinding disc to my bat without gluing to my bat. It works well for me. I would suggest one or two to try out and see if you like it. Unplug your kiln before putting in or removing the shelves this is a safety issue. I hope that helps.
Love your Red Peacock Bowl!! OMG Gorgeous!! I have all of those glazes and I'm going to have to try layering them too! May I ask if you had pinholes with the Pearl White and the Laguna Speckled Buff Clay? I'm reluctant to try it as I had so many problems with PW, but now I have a new digital kiln. loved the side-by-side of the HF and PW!

But I am noticing a little crazing on some of the PW on the speckled buff..I think it may be that I need a slower cool down on the pieces where the outside is raw. Doesn’t seem to happen when I layer on top of the PW tho. And it hasn’t happened on all those pieces so idk 🤷🏻♀️. I may try just 2 coats inside rather than 3 as well. I would love to see how it works out for you in your new kiln 😍!! Cannot wait to see what you come up with too for the peacock glazes!!
