    You sir are a real professional. I'm doing a second 77 on a 90 frame and it's great seeing someone else do a detailed walkthrough on the same/similar project.

      Thanks. I'm way behind on making these videos. This project is already reaching the 2 year mark, so it's time to play catchup and post some of my "how to"

    Very concise description of what you did and why. Very minimalist approach also. As straight ahead as it could possibly be.

    I have a similar project on the go.
    78 F-600 going on a 01 Super Duty 7.3 turbo diesel 4x4 frame. The old one is a crew cab with 8 ft box and I'm switching to a two-door 78 cab with a flatbed behind it. I really appreciate seeing your cab mount ideas, thanks for sharing them!

    • @markfuga
      @markfuga  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Awesome!! Sounds like a fun project. Yes!! remember to fully tighten the cab mount bolts before welding the brackets to the frame!! I'm just now getting everything re-assembled and the mount compress every bit of 1/4 inch! I tightened it all up this week and the body lines are still perfectly aligned. Although you have a little less to fuss with if using a flat bed behind the cab.

      @@markfuga hope to test fit the cab to frame this week. I think the engine bay in the 600 is a bit bigger than the regular F series. But I'll be bringing the rad support over to the 600 from the Super Duty. I can't wait to see your next vid on your 77. Cheers

    Another great project👍
    I subscribed a while back because i found your last project on a forum and videos here.
    I'm putting a 76 f350 crewcab on a early 2000s 7.3l crewcab cab/ chassis frame. Both trucks are 2wd but I'm converting to 4wd with a 6 speed.
    I've already started some of the work but haven't had the time to really work on it. Hoping to at least get it on the road this coming yr.
    Your projects should be very helpful for my project. I appreciate all the details you have provided 👍

    • @markfuga
      @markfuga  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I used the steering column and gauge cluster from the 2015. Everything else is the 77's. I did replace the ashtray with the brake controller from the 2015. Here's a thread on a message board the details some of the efforts on this build: www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1663761-77-super-onto-2015-a.html

    How is it coming along...

    • @markfuga
      @markfuga  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Slowly. The cab is set on the frame. Mechanically the truck is 100% done. Just got it back from a shop that finished and charged the AC system. The bed is at the body shop for paint. I'll spend the next several weeks getting the interior back together along with exterior trim. I should have it back on the road by the first of the year.
