First off this is an IDW Beast Wars image for the background not BW2.. So these were characters from the IDW Gathering and Ascending comics. The characters in the IDW comics were named after their original toys. So on the left there we see Polar Claw and Grimlock while on the left there is Tripredacus Agent, Transquito, and Scavenger among others. Beast Wars 2nd indeed used the unused toys not featured in the Mainframe Beast Wars show.. but they were named differently and had very different color schemes. So Drillbit became Drillnuts, B'boom became Apache, Spittor became Diver.. and so on. There is a full cast of Beast Wars 2nd based on unused toys from the Mainframe show. There is however a few new molds and some G2 molds thrown in there. Galvatron and the Autorollers for instance were never part of the US releases.. same with Lio Convoy. If you are really interested in BW2 you can search Karyuudo fansubs here on TH-cam. He uploaded the entire show with fan made subtitles. The original cartoon has never been dubbed in English and released in the US.
