Glad to see you back. This should be the "Amanda" instead of the one ITH has now. I love how this one has a big closet in the bedroom, W/H with a door and the bathroom at the end next to the bedroom. The living room is big enough and the kitchen has a dining set. Perfect design! LOVE IT :)

The time!!!! It’s so open and nice! Love that the kitchen it up against the wall posted of a hallway! It’s so open and spacious!! Does ITH build something similar to this? This is very nice! Like this better than having a hallway and it gives the bathroom a lot more room! I would need a tub in my bathroom. I love to take bath! So that’s a non negotiable for me. I’m beginning to love ITH and would love to have a home there in the near future!

its a 12 foot wide home, which they typically do not build as the transportation costs to ship an over-width home are really high ...so a 12 foot wide home would typically have to remain on site. When they were still doing custom builds, they said they would be potentially open to building one, but discouraged it due to limitations in transport.
I LOVE IT,GREAT THAT THE BATH ISN'T RIGHT OFF THE KITCHEN.I WOULD GET IN THERE WITH MY ELECTRIC POTS & COOK UP A STORM.

Say it was a chance for them to come back in and redecorate the whole place. Not thrilled with where the bathroom is either but it does give you more space than putting it anywhere else in the house. Maybe they could have put the bathroom before the bedroom. That would make better sense but I would love this house on one of their properties!

That’s a damn big lot!!
YES it IS!!! Probably the largest of all ITH lots. Technically it is the end corner of 2 streets that come together and there is supposed to be the Milligan Mile path along side this home, but it has never been built yet. Therefore, this home still has that future Milligan Mile yard space around it.
I remember when it was very dark, and not a good floor plan. Seems they gutted and started over. Much better now.

It was an early custom build by ITH.
I like this home but don’t like the placement of the bathroom. If you have overnight guests they would have to walk through your bedroom to use the bathroom.

And not just overnight guests. If you have tradespeople working on the grounds or on the house, they'd have to go through the bedroom to use the bathroom too. Not a good thing. Typical of ITH to not think things through.

But, $130,000 dollars is way too much for this tiny house period. Maybe $75,000 range or lower. Tiny houses were meant to be inexpensive and affordable to most people but like everything else they’ve built them a little bigger and charging far more than they were meant to be. Look, he’s got a cheap black refrigerator, a little two burner built in “inexpensive” burners but I do like the countertop. That’s it for almost $130,000 dollars?! No way I’d pay that kind of money for what he’s got into this tiny house. I bet it might have cost him $10-12,000 to build at the most. No, no thanks 🙂↔️ not from Randy well not to anyone period.

How can a 12 foot wide be moved even?
Very carefully.
You would have to hire professional movers. Special permits would be needed for an over sized load, and escort vehicles would be needed. It may not even be permitted to put it on some roads without official closure etc. In any case, it will costs thousands of dollars to move it.
Many Park Models are 12 feet wide and most single wide Mobile homes are 16 feet, and get moved all the time.
By law, it has to be moved by professionals and will be costly.

if i remember correctly, the dark colour in the closet was the colour of the whole interior before ...it was an incredibly dark build, as per the customer request, and ITH did a huge effort to brighten up the build ...and it took coats and coats of paint on the walls to get to that white if im remembering correctly ... and this was one of the 1st houses placed into the forest ... i think it was sitting at the end of the factory before that ...near Randy's mom's place ? am i remembering correctly ? who else remembers some of the origins on this house. I remember randy was glad for the chance to remodel it as he felt the original build was very dark, and he was excited to rebuild it

It didn't seem like a big deal to me. No harm done to just make a few changes in the description. But it opened up a lot of negative comments and bad feelings about ITH. Not a wise decision on their part. Sorry you were in the middle.
I just read their comments and then speaking about a lawyer.. I am so turned off by this.. I just praised this company so many times recently and was thinking of talking to them next year about a build…time to do some research I guess. So very disappointed. A phone call would have been the professional route.. 🤦♀️💔

I wish we got to see the creative ways the incrediboxes are getting finished out
Yet they didn't put in a base cabinet to provide storage and hide the ugly pipes and drain. At this price, that's expected. smh..

Its pretty but not that pretty for 130k. I have this size shed and only paid $6400 for it.

Downtown Newport was flooded badly. Tiny towne did not flood. Water got close but did not flood which is comforting when they had as much rain as they had. So devastating for so many people.
Do you know if the price of this home, includes the 100 year locked in lot price? This is $398 sq ft, which is too high. Wish it was lower. Darn! 😢
Why in the world do builders but the bathroom all the way at the back? I've seen this several times in other units; they just aren't thinking. The bathroom should be in front of the bedroom, so company can use it without going through your bedroom. That way, the only traffic thru the bathroom to the bedroom, are those who sleep back there. Otherwise, it would be perfect for me; I love the lot too. Thanks for showing us this home. 💜

If I remember correctly from some of the older videos, I think I remember that ITH did build this home, as a custom home, customer directed, and then it ended up getting re-sold, and ITH did the renovation as it stands now as well.
Correct. This was the original Hobbit House built around 8 years ago, and it was later gutted and renovated by ITH. I found the video of the house across the street where Randy explained about this house.
It would be nice if they all got together and built a small community garden on the lot away from her home or the new order would have a beautiful place to plant a beautiful garden!’
I don't see anything here making this house worth 129K. It's just a basic tiny house made wider and longer, with many design flaws, but that's to be expected with any house that ITH builds. They should have used pocket doors for the bedroom and bathroom doors, as you lose valuable wall space with barn doors, as the area that they slide over when open is now rendered unusable. That space could be used for bookshelves, photo display, side tables etc, but here it is just wasted space. A large bathroom with a small sink with no counter space, and no base cabinet for storage. And those hideous water lines and drain, fully exposed. smh. The refrigerator should have been placed at the other end of the kitchen, not placed obtrusively next to the TV/living room. And of course will be very noisy and noticeable with that placement when running. The mini split is also misplaced, at the far end of the house, partially blocked by a cabinet yet. You'd need a second mini split to reach the bedroom/bathroom area, especially if the barn doors are closed. And they should have included a loft for the price. Anyway, it will sell, and good to see Teresa back again.
And a two-element cook top under a full size range hood makes no sense. Should have four cooking elements, especially with that huge fridge.
You take the good and the bad with anything in life! Where are you going to move that you will only pay 200.00 a month rent??? Low cost living at its best! Mr Randy is not perfect and he could have charged a heck of a lot more for rent. Let’s all stop with the negativity.
This video will be edited to remove the offer of leaving the home on the lot. ITH wants this home moved from the lot now.

I agree. I use to love ITH, but after hearing so many horror stories about Randy and his policies, I am now looking elsewhere for my tiny home. This home is beautiful and Randy should take some of these ideas in building his homes. He also needs an attitude adjustment.

Imagine this on your own little land sittin on a hilly mound of dirt, with a full wrap around deck, enclosed from front door, enclosed gang plank from deck on back end with hot tub jacuzzi & built in bar❤❤ in one direction (like a Y) other direction goes to your shed/washroom/floor freezer.❤❤❤.
