I wish there was a controller that had dualsense features (haptics, adaptive triggers) but the offset sticks. That is pretty much all I would want.

Your review was very detailed. I have watched countless reviews of this joystick and none were as specific about the the features such as the "clutch" feature. They simply said things like "I don't like it because it's too big bla bla bla." Thank you for the professional review it really helped!
Razer's Wolverine V2 Tournament is literally the only part of this product line I enjoy on paper. Had it for a year and still use it for PC gaming.
It cost $250
with that money I could buy a xbox series s that gives me a selection of games from gamepass, upcoming games like starfield and ES6 and a normal xbox controller
It's over half the value of a Steam Deck or Switch. Though I think the features in these new pro controllers are great, there's zero chance I'll pay more than twice the cost of a base controller for a pro controller. I suppose the market will determine where the value of these pro controllers will finally reside. I'll wait it out.

Been waiting for razer to release these. I love their controllers. Grown to hate the rest of their crap if it requires their software but the controllers are always great. Got the original Raiju controller and the Mobile version. Always loved the back buttons for my giant gorilla hands and the extra buttons by the triggers and bumpers were always nice too.
Razer is way overpriced tho
@@Saiputera Yup totally agree. Use to be at least somewhat decent. But this? $250 for a controller that is a mirror of the V2 just with wireless. You lose Haptics, Can build a custom controller with better features for less then 100 bucks. This controller from Razer they might as well have just said We're selling this $100 controller for $250 because we know idiots will buy it.

Dam wish it had the haptics at least. I prefer the stick placement on it vs the dual sense, having my movement on that top left like Xbox feels more natural specially since switch pro is same too
at $250 it will definitely go on sale soon, hardly anybody is going to buy them on launch. i’ll also wait for a black model, but I really do want to pick one up because of the thumbstick layout

Do you plan on checking out the Pdp Victrix? At 180 and with the ability to switch between Xbox and PlayStation style controls is really intriguing.

I just got the bfg victrix. I don't like it. It's significantly smaller than ps5 controller. I have size large hands It's a great idea, but it feels like a toy, definitely disappointed after waiting 2 months pre-order.
Good to know the PS5 game speaker isn't featured on this controller. I thought it had haptics/speaker were features it had, but it doesn't!
With the back buttons it can be good for if you want to use a certain button for a jump attack in fighting and including platform fighters like Nickelodeon all star brawl and MultiVersus
Both those games are absolute garbage.
Or weapon switching in 3D action games.

I would have considered buying it if it can replace the Dual Sense, but seeing it has none of the proprietary things, the Dual Sense Edge make more 'sense' at that price point.

I had the raiju ultimate, friend got it too, it was great but the back buttons wore out in like 2 months, kinda iffy abt this one. Ofc all pro controllers wear out quick but damn lol. I have the scuff reflex fps and it’s doing wonder for me

it would be nice if there was additional Bluetooth for headphones of all kinds as a bypass because ps5 Bluetooth earphones that connect are limited.

1. how much force we need to press on abxy If wolverine v1 is 5 and V2 chroma is 10 (this v2 too hard to me) so how is v2 pro.

Have you looked into the Victrix Pro controller for PS5? If you like fighting games, this would be even more perfect with its swappable fight pad. Would be nice to see that controller thrown in your comparison as well

Yeah Victrix kicks this thing's ass from what I see. I mean if you're a brain dead casual Cod gorilla, I guess this might be worth spending almost half the f***ing price of a PS 5 but if you actually have a brain and don't just play whatever video games your friends are playing and appreciate actual art instead of annual abcesses, 250 is too much.
Basically if you are a huge fighting game player or a pro competitor this thing is not worth it. Victrix is cheaper, better and doesn't just let you remap the controls it actually let you take the f***ing buttons out and completely flip them around to fit your playstyle, it's just a better controller.

I have heard by some TH-camrs that these new PS5 controllers almost completely eliminate input lag. Can you share your thoughts about it? Personally, I love all sorts of games including multiplayer Call of duty, fighting, and most of the time single player story driven games. So upgrading to Razer or DualSense Edge wireless, is it worth it?
There is always inputlag with a controller!! Dont trust youtubers, they only advertising these products and get money of it. The best thing you could do for low inputlag is too buy a good game monitor

Strange there is not many reviews for this controller. I know it was supposed to be release December 31st, but it was recently release. But there are not many reviews as I would expect.

First off i love your channel, been subscribed for a long time now and heavily value your reviews. Look forward to your edge review and comparison to this Razer controller. I do have a question i love mostly all things PlayStation but the controllers. The stick placement does nothing for me in shooting games and i tend to 99% of the time play those games on Xbox. Does this controller A feel good in the hands and B would you say it feels like a xbox controller mostly or does it just have it’s own fit in hand. Granted i know controllers and their comfort is subjective, many love Dual sense or Xbox controllers for different reasons.i look forward to hearing what you think of this fit and feel in hand, cause before i drop $250 on a controller i want to know if i should as someone that likes Xbox controllers. Would be great to be able to use this and open up a door on PS5 that otherwise i just use my Series X for. Thank you and honestly your channel is great, look forward to all the new videos coming up as 2023 looks jammed pack with awesome games.

Love the Dpad on this. But I like how quiet the dual sense controller is. Also the price for any of these is a no go.
I can't see any reason to buy a pro controller besides replaceable thumb sticks and the possibility of doing away with dead zones but that might just be me. besides, you could be using that money for other accessories like 3d sound headphones or SSDs. And the scammers don't know when to quit while their ahead.

damn i searched for this controller thinking it'll be $160 max. $250 is waaay too expensive.
I'll just purchase a back button mod from extreme & separate dpad buttons & a shoulder click button mod for ps5 controller would work out cheaper

for some reason my wolverine v2 pro controller has stick drift and when want to choose the game that I want I can't choose it. Is that normal or not or even just a bug.
Just picked mine up today, I LOVE IT. I have the Wolverine V2 Chroma for the Series X as well, and I adore them both and they make both consoles very fluent and enjoyable

Does this controller really not vibrate like other controllers? I read that it doesn't support vibration/rumble and I really love having a controller that vibrates. I don't like using an Xbox controller with low batteries because the haptic feedback turns off. I don't know why, it just feels weird not having it vibrate when it's supposed to.
I still have Razer Raiju from ps4 and I love that controller. Specially triggers are so smooth and sticks are amazing for perfect aiming. Dualsense can’t be compared to that. But the price is an issue 300€ is a bit to much.
I have it to… and now it eats dust in the corner. No ps5 support. Sony could lern from Xbox

@@Twisted_Individual i have the normal Raiju not the tournament, this one you can’t even use without cable (I think) but never had lag. Only thing is stick drift after a year. Even on my dealsense now I already have stick drift.

Do any PS5 controllers come with Hall effect sensors? I've wasted too much cash on controllers with joysticks that drift after a few months. I don't know if it's a licensing thing for manufacturers to put in those sensors but having analog sticks should now be a con for all reviewers moving forward.
The Dual Sense Edge that Sony has coming out in January has hot-swappable stick modules where you swap out the whole stick assembly. Replacement stick assemblies will be 20 bucks. I have the controller and one replacement module on order, but am seriously considering cancelling for this controller. Use my PS5 controller already more on PC than on the PS5 anyway.
@@dannyberry8725 It really shows you Sony's true intent in the matter, they keep selling you the problem, and now they are also selling you a temporary solution, for a "mere" 20$. GuliKit's gamepad for 70$ has Hall effect sticks and triggers, plus mechanical buttons. Vote with your wallet folks, don't let corporations keep doing this.
I had one of these ordered and canceled it. It's just too damn expensive. I ordered the victrix instead hopefully it wasn't a mistake. The razer compared in photos and this video looks like better quality but I just couldn't do the 250. The victrix is 180, has the Xbox layout which i prefer and looks like u can change the stick modules in the future if they go bad. The victrix does look kinda cheap tho hopefully it holds up for a couple years. If it feels anything like my elite 2 I'll be happy. I don't love the comfort of the dualsense that is why I didn't opt for the edge. These controllers are all too expensive but once you go paddles it's hard to go go back especially in fps.
Hopefully it feels great because I have long fingers and big hands

@@xKillZone99 the razor? i think they make excellent products, i have a panthera fightstick and the quality hasnt failed, so youre experience is that drift isnt too bad?
@@jcramirez77 the wolverine v2 and V2 chroma yes, only downside is there isn't much tension with the sticks so that takes a few days to a week of use to get used to it, but yeah never had any issue with stuck drift in the last few years with them, but if something happened there's a deadzone setting u can adjust to counter any potential stick drift.

Love my Xbox version of this but it is also really weird and takes like a week to get used to. My favorite part of this controller is actually not competitive gaming though I does feel really good, it’s actually the best controller I’ve used for Elden Ring

@@smoothsavage2870 I put roll on the top right extra trigger button, use potion/item on left extra trigger button. Pick up/read message on back right extra rear button, and I don’t use the left extra button. Everything else was the same
