It helps to remember where you were when you started finding your way back to Him. The problem with this journey of salvation is that you get caught up in His Love and you want everyone with you at the point you are at... But you forget that you got there with Grace, which they don't have, so of course they think you are crazy! Take yourself mentally back to where they are and relate to them from that perspective... Send a video once in a while but mostly pray for them. Jesus can soften any heart but trust Him to do it, surrender this problem to Him, it's not your words that will sway them... It's Him.

Because the place where I was when Jesus finally reached me, was a very dark and lawless one, this is why my family thinks I am crazy. I went from being a total party girl, looking into and experiencing all kinds of different philosophies and non-western/Eastern religions; to almost instantaneously "on fire" for Christ...wanting to give up Everything to follow him. You are correct, my zealousness scared the heck out of them. I wasn't really preaching so much as changing everything about my life. My one sister said "you make people feel guilty". I was surprised. I thought I am nor making Anyone feel guilty! Maybe it's the Holy Spirit showing people what they should and shouldn't be doing; but "it's too much work and too difficult to change habitual behaviors and thoughts" etc.. I know because I used to tell God that too. I have told them that "these ways and thoughts (Gospel) are not My own, but God's! and, "Hell is a real place, and you can go there, no pun intended" It's scary. I think I scare them. But that is it really....I want to scare The Hell out of them, so that we can all be together with the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit in Heaven forever .

Its like parents who have a difficult child, they sacrifice a lot, but because of love, they don t even notice it.

I have very deeply hidden, crushed, dormant, stunted anger over my mom, her broken relationship with God & with me. I need help but i don't have insurance so i had2 quit my counseling cold turkey. I do seek help & will do a "Healing the Whole person" retreat soon but I am living with the effects if my mom living in the sin of ignoring what she did to me and the way our family functions, dysfunctionally, formed around her complete failure of faith. It makes me sick but i have always been "obedient." I cannot speak up despite how God asks me to. I did see the prayer posted for me. I know God helps me everyday. I am just still neutered & impotent, completely frustrated and hurt & facing this situation now at Thanksgiving. I need more help.
Offer up all your sufferings to GOD. He will make it lighter! Remember, JESUS suffered the worst torture than any human being could possibly go thru. I have done it so many times in my 69 yrs n everytime, GOD MADE IT BETTER N LIGHTER for me in my difficult times with parents n siblings.

If we strive to life a good life full of charity and love for God and frequent the Sacraments,( especially confession, And Holy Communion) consecration to the Sacred Heart and Our Blessed Mother, plus Holy Mass, the Rosary, & the Scapular. We have all the requirements, for salvation.

Purgatory is the state of those who die in God's friendship, assured of their eternal salvation, but who still have need of purification to enter into the happiness of heaven. Whether God is there or not is the question of personal belief.
I just finished reading the book. It is very comforting, at the same time gives stern warning to all of us. The narrator comes from Purgatory. She comes from different realm, a realm of suffering on account of all our sins committed in the earthly realm. Only few souls go directly to heaven from earth. Most will be routed to Purgatory because of their indifference to our Lord Jesus Christ. Many will be shocked to learn that they are heading to Purgatory, instead of Heaven. Many Christians think that they've lived all their lives here in conformity to the commandments of Jesus Christ only to find out that they arrived at purgatory. From priest, nuns, theologians, doctors, professors, criminals all the way to laymen, all of them can be seen in purgatory. Many will be shocked that people who committed horrendous act here on earth are there in purgatory(lowest level) instead of hell. The lowest level in purgatory is like hell, the only difference is that in hell, souls there curse God for eternity, in the lowest level of purgatory, souls there long for God in the midst of very long suffering but the final end is still heaven, St Michael will fetch them from purgatory into heaven. We think that space and time is infinite when the truth is that it is just a speck, minute, a lower dimension compare to purgatory and heaven. The best message from the narrator and the most difficult of all is to deny yourself and to only do the will of Jesus Christ here on earth. The narrator from purgatory is not even speaking new here. This message is all over the New Testaments.

Yes, I agree about Purgatory but God also knows that it was only because He first loved us that we are made capable of loving Him in return. Without Him creating that love inside of us, we would be incapable of truly loving.

Admonishing the sinner is a Spiritual work of Mercy and as always, speaking in True Love is urgent. It is not lording the past over them but kindly & gently seeking g to bring them to reconciliation with God BUT of course it is on their terms. They don't have to share and we cannot know. At the same time it is possible to very clearly know when they do not share faith & also reject you & ignore you.

Wow, this is exactly what I have been wondering since the film "After Death" has been out. I have been scratching my head on their NDE. I have seen a few videos where people have said there is no judgement. They are shown their life and how sins affected others, but no judgement. It is just love others. I wonder what are these people experiencing. Some even say they are recovering Catholics. Is it a deceiving NDE experience, or are they not being truthful? I have not heard of any messages to repent.

Protestant error and heresies have infected the post Vatican 2 church, and those heresies are destroying what good is left in traditional families and the world.
Purgatory is a condition where the souls of the just who die in God's grace and friendship, experience final purging, purification and cleansing, in order to make them perfect and pure to see God in heaven.
Purgatory is an act of God's mercy, love and justice.
Though not mentioned explicitly in scripture, the teaching is deeply rooted in scripture:
1 Cor 3:15 speaks of this purging fire through which we can be saved.
Heb 12: 22-23 shows that they are souls of the just in Mt Zion that are being made perfect.
Mt 5:48 tells us we must be perfect as our heavenly Father is perfect.
Jam 3:2 shows how we fall short in many respects.
Rev 21:27 tells us nothing impure shall enter heaven
Heb 12:14 encourages us to strive for holiness without which we cannot see God
Mt 12:32 indicate that some sins can actually be forgiven in the afterlife.
1 Pet 3:18-20,4:6 tells how Jesus, after his death on the Cross, preached to the souls in prison.
2 Macc 12:41-46 describes how Judas Maccabeus offered prayer and atonement for the dead to free them from sin.
2 Tim 1:16-18 show how Paul prayed for the soul of his dead friend Onesiphorus
There are ample scriptural and historical evidence that prove the existence of purgatory.
Please let's be open to the Holy Spirit to lead us to the fullness of truth that God has revealed in his Word.

It helps to remember where you were when you started finding your way back to Him. The problem with this journey of salvation is that you get caught up in His Love and you want everyone with you at the point you are at... But you forget that you got there with Grace, which they don't have, so of course they think you are crazy! Take yourself mentally back to where they are and relate to them from that perspective... Send a video once in a while but mostly pray for them. Jesus can soften any heart but trust Him to do it, surrender this problem to Him, it's not your words that will sway them... It's Him.

Because the place where I was when Jesus finally reached me, was a very dark and lawless one, this is why my family thinks I am crazy. I went from being a total party girl, looking into and experiencing all kinds of different philosophies and non-western/Eastern religions; to almost instantaneously "on fire" for Christ...wanting to give up Everything to follow him. You are correct, my zealousness scared the heck out of them.
I wasn't really preaching so much as changing everything about my life. My one sister said "you make people feel guilty".
I was surprised. I thought I am nor making Anyone feel guilty! Maybe it's the Holy Spirit showing people what they should and shouldn't be doing; but "it's too much work and too difficult to change habitual behaviors and thoughts" etc..
I know because I used to tell God that too.
I have told them that "these ways and thoughts (Gospel) are not My own, but God's! and, "Hell is a real place, and you can go there, no pun intended"
It's scary. I think I scare them.
But that is it really....I want to scare The Hell out of them, so that we can all be together with the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit in Heaven forever .
Please don't give up ,ask God to give you the graces to persevere in encouraging them,try to be a good example to them,then God will see to that

I have very deeply hidden, crushed, dormant, stunted anger over my mom, her broken relationship with God & with me. I need help but i don't have insurance so i had2 quit my counseling cold turkey. I do seek help & will do a "Healing the Whole person" retreat soon but I am living with the effects if my mom living in the sin of ignoring what she did to me and the way our family functions, dysfunctionally, formed around her complete failure of faith. It makes me sick but i have always been "obedient." I cannot speak up despite how God asks me to. I did see the prayer posted for me. I know God helps me everyday. I am just still neutered & impotent, completely frustrated and hurt & facing this situation now at Thanksgiving. I need more help.

When having difficulty pray to Our Lord who loves us, "Jesus, please help me. I can't do this on my own. I need your help and grace." He hears our prayers.

God has been so generous with me, and I turned away from him (not completely, but not giving Him my full attention) for a few days. His Heart is wounded! I am sorry my Jesus! Purgatory is the state of those who die in God's friendship, assured of their eternal salvation, but who still have need of purification to enter into the happiness of heaven.
Whether God is there or not is the question of personal belief.
I just finished reading the book. It is very comforting, at the same time gives stern warning to all of us. The narrator comes from Purgatory. She comes from different realm, a realm of suffering on account of all our sins committed in the earthly realm. Only few souls go directly to heaven from earth. Most will be routed to Purgatory because of their indifference to our Lord Jesus Christ. Many will be shocked to learn that they are heading to Purgatory, instead of Heaven. Many Christians think that they've lived all their lives here in conformity to the commandments of Jesus Christ only to find out that they arrived at purgatory. From priest, nuns, theologians, doctors, professors, criminals all the way to laymen, all of them can be seen in purgatory. Many will be shocked that people who committed horrendous act here on earth are there in purgatory(lowest level) instead of hell. The lowest level in purgatory is like hell, the only difference is that in hell, souls there curse God for eternity, in the lowest level of purgatory, souls there long for God in the midst of very long suffering but the final end is still heaven, St Michael will fetch them from purgatory into heaven. We think that space and time is infinite when the truth is that it is just a speck, minute, a lower dimension compare to purgatory and heaven. The best message from the narrator and the most difficult of all is to deny yourself and to only do the will of Jesus Christ here on earth. The narrator from purgatory is not even speaking new here. This message is all over the New Testaments.

Yes, I agree about Purgatory but God also knows that it was only because He first loved us that we are made capable of loving Him in return. Without Him creating that love inside of us, we would be incapable of truly loving.

Admonishing the sinner is a Spiritual work of Mercy and as always, speaking in True Love is urgent. It is not lording the past over them but kindly & gently seeking g to bring them to reconciliation with God BUT of course it is on their terms. They don't have to share and we cannot know. At the same time it is possible to very clearly know when they do not share faith & also reject you & ignore you.
So true! I have learned a lot of this over the years and try to share these messages with friends and lived ones. But still they don't change 😢😢 it's heart breaking!

I have been listening to NDE videos and so many people say they are in Heaven and they are not afraid of dying now. But time in purgatory is not discussed. I wonder how they are getting straight to Heaven when so many holy souls are suffering. I’ve read some of St Faustino’s diary and have a new fear of going to purgatory (an actual place according to the description written in City of God, Mary of Agreda.). 18:38

Wow, this is exactly what I have been wondering since the film "After Death" has been out. I have been scratching my head on their NDE. I have seen a few videos where people have said there is no judgement. They are shown their life and how sins affected others, but no judgement. It is just love others. I wonder what are these people experiencing. Some even say they are recovering Catholics. Is it a deceiving NDE experience, or are they not being truthful? I have not heard of any messages to repent.
