What are your thoughts on Nelly Korda's 2024 season?
7wins in one year so far are you nuts. She had two bad holes this year in the UU Open and the two other majors three bad shots. Come on people give her a break. I have that many bad shots on one hole and Im a ten hdcp.
For the player that Nellie is, winning all the titles to date. Any athlete at this level needs to have rest regardless of what the press say. It is one thing where the media and the likes of ESN Golf highlight the bright lights in winning but all cant wait to highlight any fall or negative run in the sport. There is still no other player that can achieve what Nellie has done. Nellie will bounce back and will win titles again. You can't spend so long at the top without any hurdles. Nellie maybe super human but she is still human.
What collapse? Shes easily the best player in the world by a long way! Nobody is as consistent as her.
How about the Fact that she IS HUMAN, Huh? Mental health struggles/Anxiety can happen, Jeez. She's human, Relax.
This didn’t age well at all considering her solheim cup performance, I just think she’s a streaky player that ends up more on the good side than bad
Edit: that U.S. Open that was brought in this video, well a lot of top players missed the cut, you had amateurs at the top of the leaderboards early on in the tournament, and it was just such a random and chaotic course that was just unfair to everyone and the leader who was minjee lee I believe looked to have a comfortable lead leading by like 3-4 shots at the start of round 4 and that evaporated quickly
Golf is a game meant to be played. Not won!
