You are correct that she intentionally missed those shots so she can grab a rebound, no matter what the cost. Angel is definitely over hyped. I don’t see evidence of her intentionally missing shots. She just doesn’t have much offensive skill. She is basically a bruiser that’s bigger and stronger than almost any of the other players.
I am an avid CC fan all the way ... but, Angel Reese is way ahead of her competition at her center position.. yes.. if all the other players in the league can miss layups time and again... it's time to get of Angel's back and appreciate her skills and make it clear she is not an enemy .. she's a 22 yr old getting attention for being a basketball star and should be respected as much as anyone else in the WNBA...
