I'd go for a casual-chic or more formal wardrobe (blouses, long cardigans, longer dresses, earthy or darker tones) and open hair, a (messy) bun or a sleek ponytail. It makes you look more professional and therefore makes people assume you're older. Also, makeup-wise, going for a little bit of contour beneath your cheekbones could even out the baby face issue. hope this helps ^^
same thing happens to me as a guy> 21 now. But in HS i had a mixed elective as a senior. And these girls I was friends(only in class) with in class thought i was a freshman like them.
I’m in the same boat not much we can do lol. I feel like there is no point in living like you have something to prove. The people who are meant to be in your life will show up no matter what. I say just be true to you 😊
I've met girls with this exact issue. They've told me they're miserable about it. Dating is absolutely an issue. Even after they reveal their age, AFTER THEY have to approach a guy the guy is still afraid of how it looks and closet date them. You hang in there, try your best to be the best version of yourself you can be. You don’t need tats. Girls have tats under age too. Looks are deceiving and a good guy will understand this. 😊
Well, for one thing, the pigtails don't exactly help. Maybe go for a more mature-seeming style, like a Karen-cut or anything with long, straight hair & hair-parts. Also, consider going for darker shades in general, especially eye shadow and liner. And of course, make sure to try and dress with clothes that make you look older than teens would look, if you can.
i'm 4'11" and i also have a baby face. i'm 20 years old and i have the same problem! maybe it's the fact that we are both named karsen? okay that's a joke lol but it is really a struggle omgg
I'm 33, and have been married 12 years. People finally think I'm 24-25. I was getting carded for R rated movies at age 24. Only when I spoke did most people assume I wasn't lying about my age. I don't have great advice for you, because I never figured it out. Just have a good sense of humor and enjoy it while you can. Lol.
It makes me so depressed because people nowadays will actually shame women for looking young implying that they're trying to be "pedobait." People also shame men for being attracted to women who look like this. If she is a grown woman that looks like a child, maybe you should change your perception of what a child looks like ! Women are usually sexually mature at 15-16 years old. After that, you're just waiting for them to finish develop mentally. People think grown women look like "children" nowadays because a lot of people have been equating sexually developed teenagers to children. There is a difference ! Note: this isn't to say that teenagers are adults. Just because they've finished developing in one way doesn't mean that they're fully grown. Most people get their full set of adult teeth at 12. This doesn't mean 12 year olds are adults.
Hey when you 43 you'll look 25. It's not at all a curse too look way younger than what you actually are, i mean it's not like you can get a boy friend over 18.
If for half of your adulthood, you were disrespected, talked down to, and denied opportunities because people made inappropriate assumptions about your age based on appearance, you would not enjoy your youth.

Girl same, it's so annoying. Like I just want to be respected as an adult.

Most people think I look younger than I really am, too, despite the gray hair in my beard. But, I'm literally twice your age, lol.

Wear red Lipstick and use swearwords
One day, like everyone else on this planet, you will grow old. Stop complaining and enjoy your youth. Don't worry, time will sort you out.
