this game has weird & fucking hard combat mechanics harder than Souls games imo, but thankfully you can save. Overall a brilliant action rpg, worthy successor to the Gothic series.

I am literary crying right now...... I don't know how this game's memory stroke me after all these years I was 6th grade when I played this today I am 3rd year college student. I feel like I have a fucking connection with this game..... Seeing this after all these years makes me wanna play this again but it's not available at the stores anymore 😭.... Please can someone send me download link or something... Man it would make my life better..... Great game and kudos to the fucking team who made this fucking brilliant game!!!! 😭😭😭😊

Risen came out in 2009, same year as Demon's Souls.

@MIHAI S. Not to mention that the game that has the most similar combat with the Souls series is also from around 2000 and is called Severance: Blade of Darkness and it's actually better than Souls combat in some aspects.
