      @@titus7980 nm I can see your photo. You would need to find a good fab shop as no stand alone kits exist. If you in Florida I can recommend a good fabricator

    48:10 Firewall access
    I came to your video looking for a way to get through the firewall on the passenger side for a dashcam hardwire install. Just tagging that part of your video for other folks.
    Also, great video. I may do a line lock install at some point and I really like how you went through it step by step, showing how to avoid mistakes, and covering things others might skip over like how to bleed the brakes.

    So would the yellows be hot or are they grounds??

    • @HyperHawkCamaro
      @HyperHawkCamaro  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The yellows are auxillary that you would would wire into your nitrous or 2 step to disable it when you push the button . Not sure if they are grounds or hots thats a good question i would guess they would be grounds as them being hot wouldnt make sense when you press the button you basically are losing ground connection to your other mods wired into it. I can look it up for you I didnt use them so honestly didnt focus on them.

    Glad it works, and line locks are fun, but lots of rookie mistakes in here. Tapcons and all red wires, oofff..

    • @HyperHawkCamaro
      @HyperHawkCamaro  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the comment we used what was supplied with the kit. There is one red wire you are wiring up for the hot not sure where you are seeing all red wires being used. And to my knowledge tapcon is a concrete anchor screw if your referring to the wire taps used it all supplied with the kit. On the inside we could have used different connectors but there is no movement or weather outside the hot connector is tapped soldered and shrinktubed wrapped. I'm always open to learn though so if you can be more specific to what you saw please let me know all for doing things better.

      @@HyperHawkCamaro What's what I was referring to, the wire taps or tap connectors, same thing there. Those things are a royal pain and do more damage than good. It looked like everything in the button was all red wires after the harness.
      Just because it came with the kit doesn't make it right or ok, just means it was a cheap kit and you have to source the right stuff somewhere else. I ended up replacing that cig lighter outlet too but I grabbed a female connector and pinned my wires so it was plug and play and more importantly to vibration issues to worry about a connection failing.

    • @HyperHawkCamaro
      @HyperHawkCamaro  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RecklessRegal Yeah I will be replacing the lighter housing for sure and I did mention in the video I don't like typically using those taps but without removing the whole center console it would be a royal pain to do anything else since the wires are so short. I do agree with everything you said. And after watching your videos I respect your attention to details. The harness is all color coded correctly. Black for ground red/blue for hot yellow for aux items. Then just the one long red wire that runs the power to the solenoids.

      @@HyperHawkCamaro Gotcha, I had the sound off so the caption must not have picked that part up. Either way that switch is a pain in the ass to get to.
      I commend you for the install, getting to that ABS block looks like a royal pain as well, thankfully my Z has the built in line lock for burnouts. I am probably going to install a line lock just to hold it from rolling at the line, but I'll put it one of the wheels where it's easy to get to everything.

      Do you mean at the end ? That's me disabiling the stability and traction control. If you don't disable them it won't let you do a burnout
