I know it has been said before but the way you guys repair and do business helps restore my faith that there are still second-hand car businesses that operate with integrity and craftsmanship. Thanks.
Its probably VERY rare to find people who do it this well. These guys have a secondary income stream from the channel which allows them to spend extra time where others would just cut corners. They always do a 10/10 job.
I think they would do a proper job regardless of any additional income from the videos, I just get the impression they are passionate about doing it right all of the time. 👍🏻
Some dealers wouldn't have fixed that driver side sill but by doing the job right, you can get better money, long term respect and trust from future customers and piece of mind for both of you and the new owner. Chris is such a professional at his work, I don't think he wants to leave anything less than the way it should be. Another fine car brought back.
A long while back I only used to watch the content when you were dealing with a classic or really interesting car, but now I’m hooked on all your content. Great stuff guys.
Love the new office and kitchen looks tbe nuts don’t blame you getting sprayer in to help Chris out and it will save so much time waiting around for painter to be free well done guys
Pictures are just as good in my book. Let's face it Chris was just cracking on with it! Another great vid and another quality repair. Nice change to see people in the motor trade with a conscience! I've come across a few over the years that I wouldn't trust fixing a garden gate!
The dynamic duo does it again!!! You two have a great system....Rob running around collecting all the bits, and Chris staying in the workshop grafting..another cracking lil motor almost done. Micky from west London.
I like the wheels in black, they do balance out with the roof. Quite a quick turnaround with both of you pitching in. Good work on the flatting off Rob we might give you the job (says Chris)! I think it will be a good move if you can get the paint done 'in house' whilst this chap is good you do have to wait your turn as you say Rob. Nice update on the office Rob it is moving on very well. Thanks for another great video Rob and Chris. 👍👍
Really enjoy the bodywork videos where Chris works his magic and gets these cars back in shape ready for paint. Think bringing the painting "in house" sounds a great step forward. A nice little car this one and whilst I don't normally like black wheels I think they looks right on this silver DS.
I missed this yesterday, and I've been really down, but this video really lifted my spirits!! Really enjoyed it especially Rob catching Chris skiving!! A dedicated painter woud really push you forward, and if he gets the Chris seal of approval he must be top notch. Thank you guys for the one channel I look forward to watching.
Oh I do miss you guys on a Monday. Your boy did well Chris on the rubbing down.😉. The office looking good, very surprising what can be done with pallet wood....Thanks guys.
Lovely job you've made of that Citroen. Expert body repair and filling by Chris. Enjoyed watching that. You make it look so easy. Thanks for another film
great video again rob and chris, in house painter will be a game changer, you wont have to rely on outside painters then, less time cars hanging about waiting. ive been watching the updates of office on instagram and that is looking spot on
Thanks for another great video. Pleased to hear you are finally looking to bring a painter on board , with your other business improvements hopefully you'll be flying through projects and getting them out the door. It's a shame Chris is to busy he way underrates his own painting skills from the work we see here. It's actually warmed up here in Manitoba today it's around -18 oc yeah warmed up because it's been -30 ish and down to -40 equivalent with wind chill the last week or so ! Take care guys.
Great video. Really enjoy seeing you sort these abused motors out. Will be great seeing your in-house paint guy/lady putting the finishing touches to them.
What a great looking motor. Nice to see everything going so well chaps. The arrival of a painter will be very interesting it is one thing you really need. Cheers, Bob
In 2015 DS become a separate ( ‘luxury’) brand in itself , with Citroen as its parent company. So all of them are just badged/ branded as DS automobiles. Great vid as always guys.
roob if you are chris's apprentice i could not think of a better person to learn from ! the car is looking good so is the new office space , thanks guys
Another great video men. The office is going to look really well when it's done and I know what it's like to do that wall People think it's easy but they don't think about the amount of different sizes of pallet boards and they all have to be cut to size for them to run in line. I'd like to see it when it's all done think it should look class.
I’ve always had a fear of buying a repaired car or a categorised car. As I’m watching this I would happily buy any repaired car from Rob and Chris in a heartbeat. Such dedication to ensuring it’s repaired correctly. Any way I’m waffling on, need to carry on watching lol
Hi Rob and Chris thankyou for letting us all look at the Chris new office. And that car is looking great and and thankyou for a great video again take care both 🙂👍
Like I've said when your not so busy you should have a cheap car competition whoever makes the bigger profit buys lunch. Chris has taught you well with the body work Rob.
Excellent job and project, gentlemen. Looking forward to seeing the finished product after paint. Your new space is also turning out very nice, and will likely be a lot more useful than you realize. Thank you again for great content.
Another Great Video Guys. In a throw away Society, Wonderful to see just how you can save these Cars. Excellent advice and Terrific Instructions. Big Thumbs Up.
Wish I was 20+ years younger would love to come and work in your office.....was thinking as well as you what you said about in house sprayer you should consider building a spray booth would save you two a lot of time and even more time to take on more projects for us to watch😊👍 keep rolling rob and chris it just gets better!
Nice job with the Citroën. The office really coming along and kitchen. Pallet walls look great!! Have done some for a restaurant/cafe. In house painter will be a great help guys.
Rob , dont feel bad about having damage on second hand parts. I worked in a main dealership bodyshop in the eighties and most of the brand new doors , wings and bonnets we got from the factory needed repairs. Love the content guys keep it coming ! Bill.
Nice starter car for someone, thanks Chris and Rob, I'm liking the new microphone and video quality, the new format is starting to bed in with me as well, thanks for your time and hard work as usual you 2 happy February 🌻🍍☘️❤️⚡🙏👍🦾🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
we use to use that type stuff in black in the day to create a vinyl roof effect on bad roofs oh happy old days guys keep up the great work your amazing
In house painting will be a game changer Rob will be out doing some decent graft then having to keep the workshop loaded with cars.... Still tickles me when he says brand new second hand part.🤣. Yet again Chris,s eye for perfection picked up the scabby bottom of the door and got it repaired.. its normally around the wing mirrors that go rotten on those ds3,s
Hello Rob and Chris, brilliant work done on the DS3,the door jamb is alot better the wheel refurb are perfect.just the wing, door and bumper to sort out and it will be a nice car.
Hi guys. You correct regarding the DS brand, its a "more luxury" brand of Citroen, a bit like Lexus to Toyota and Infinity to Nissan. Those little cars are really nice and sell really quick. You guys done well. Regarding having a in house painter i already thought that was a question of time, business and channel is growing and no way you can have three of four cars waiting for painting, thats money standing there and there is so much of you can have around. Have a nice week. Oh and the new office looks nice
Another great video Rob & Chris, I really love the metal manipulation, what a skill Chris, you do make it look easy! And the possibility of getting your own painter, how exciting and potentially more content for us! Thanks as always & looking forward to the next one. Dave.
Great turn around guys nice simple fix , I'm surprised Chris doesn't have a go a doing those wheels I used to refurb them at a car showroom I worked never took tyres off to do
DS was originally part of Citroën. They were introduced in 2009 but have been separate from Citroen since 2015. The name was chosen partly as a nod to the old Citroen DS (1955-1975). DS when spoken sounds the same as the French word for "goddess" ( déesse). As for the wheels, I've seen a few DS3s and the wheels are all different: some are all silver, some all black and others a mixture.
My mum had a similar bump on the side of her car on the rocker, not caused by a jacking failure; She went to what looked like the entrance to a drive way and assuming it was clear tried to whip a u turn real quick but they had lined the dirt tracks with large rocks. I think she had only had her car like 2 months haha!
Rob, where I live the temperature today is 40 degrees celcius or 104 fahrenheit and the humidity is 90%, so unbearably hot and muggy. I would love it to be cold as you can always put nice thermal underwear on and lots of warm clothing, but when it's hot you just have to suffer it. Great video as always. Thanks again for bringing them to us. All the best from Cairns, tropical north queensland in Australia.
I wouldn't worry too much about showing techniques or repair processes that you've already shown before; for many of us watching, it's not our bread and butter so it doesn't hurt to see it again or have it explained a second time.
Evening Rob & Chris. That office is looking awesome 👏🏻 It’ll make a great difference for you both. Finding that bog in that sill I think made this video just perfect 👍🏻 Great looking car now. It’s a no brainier getting your own painter as your channel will only benefit for seeing cars completed more quickly and hopefully the new guy won’t be shy like Chris at the beginning lol 😆
The DS is looking fantastic now, it will be as good as new before too long - super work! Meanwhile, when are you going to do something with the Mercedes - its been hanging around the yard for ages.....
Dear Rob & Chris, thank you for posting this video as I’m stuck looking after grandkids today due to the teachers strike. You are just what the doctor ordered ha ha! 🙏👍🙏👍
I know it has been said before but the way you guys repair and do business helps restore my faith that there are still second-hand car businesses that operate with integrity and craftsmanship. Thanks.
Hear, Hear!!
Its probably VERY rare to find people who do it this well.
These guys have a secondary income stream from the channel which allows them to spend extra time where others would just cut corners.
They always do a 10/10 job.
Well said.
I think they would do a proper job regardless of any additional income from the videos, I just get the impression they are passionate about doing it right all of the time. 👍🏻
@@andywoolley2636 Agree. They have maintained their high standard since Day 1 of the channel.....
Chris doing his work on the bodies is a master at his best, just superb, and Rob your work up to Chris,s standard. 👍👍👍👍👍
You both seem a lot more relaxed and happy since going to two videos a week, great to see 😊
Guys, yet another 1st class repair. Your standard of work is the best I have seen. You are a credit to yourselves and to the industry!
A long while back I only used to watch the content when you were dealing with a classic or really interesting car, but now I’m hooked on all your content. Great stuff guys.
The more you can get done in house the better. Very pleased to see things going from strength to strength, and you both seem happy and relaxed.
Love the new office and kitchen looks tbe nuts don’t blame you getting sprayer in to help Chris out and it will save so much time waiting around for painter to be free well done guys
I really liked that sign off, with the open door and the car in the background. You should do that more often.
Pictures are just as good in my book. Let's face it Chris was just cracking on with it! Another great vid and another quality repair. Nice change to see people in the motor trade with a conscience! I've come across a few over the years that I wouldn't trust fixing a garden gate!
Fantastic to watch 2 lads , doin the job proper.....11/10 . Teamwork rules...
The dynamic duo does it again!!!
You two have a great system....Rob running around collecting all the bits, and Chris staying in the workshop grafting..another cracking lil motor almost done.
Micky from west London.

Another great video lads, I like the nice and straight forward repairs, and buying from the owner of the cars is great.
You guys do a great job on the cars, nice to see someone doing such a great job and not just bodging it to get it out the door. Well done 👌
My C4 Cactus has the same engine- you'd be amazed how much power it's got. I've had many CXs and BXs, and continue to love Citroen.
