“Was there any farting or swearing” Chris, you absolute legend 🤣🤣🤣. I had to go back to be sure I’d heard right. Best comments I’ve heard in years 🤣🤣🤣. Thanks lads.
Do us a favour, gentlemen, keep the live stuff going. You work so well together, and to hear you both makes great content. Must be great working with your buddy. Keep it up, your channel takes some beating. Thanks for taking the time to do this.
2 cars I thought would never see the road again were the black fiesta which had an argument with a rail or two and the white Audi a 1 but they both lived to fight another day well done guys.
Not related to this asuch I've just rebuilt a Peugeot partner 1.6hdi engine with a snapped cambelt only done it because of your videos showing what damage they do when they snap the cam lobs had moved alot side by side with the new one could see the difference thanks for videos they help alot
Hello Rob and Chris, great little car, well repaired to an exceptional standard. Video has a PG rating , so it’s family viewing. The only garage in the UK with no ‘farting or swearing’ That sounds like a good T shirt logo- Salvage Rebuilds- no farting or swearing guaranteed. Thank you for taking the the time ton upload another video. Ged.
As always guys a superb quality piece of work. Don't worry about Barbados...did it 40 years ago...too hot, too much sand, too expensive, and you can't escape due to it being surrounded by water. The only good thing was flying on a DC10!!!! At 4 grand what a superb cheap to buy / cheap to run daily for one lucky person. Keep well and safe unlike me with broken ribs and another torn intercostal. Cheers, Bob
I coiuldn't help but think when watching this vid how far Chris has come. When I first started watching you had to drag him in from on the camera and he was a mystery man. I think things changed after the "loo reveal". You and Chris work so well as a team. I can see you two in old age at your local laughng and scratching while sharing a pint.
I know for you guys it’s not about the profit, though it is what keeps the lights on…..you continue to do the right thing, the right way and take us along for the ride….. I’m sure comments would have blown up as much if there had been fart! Keep them coming guys and have a blessed weekend
Was nice to see the natural interaction between you and Chris even if it was a mistake also loved Chris's well use it we didn't fart or swear did we? It did make me chuckle and that's the first time I've done so in over a month so thank you.
"any farting or swearing...just use it then" 🤣🤣 Mint! Nice to see the natural side of the shop 👌 Rob you could also add about the insurance claim/non claim on the hit list.. If the insurance company decides to repair the car there's no record of that either, repaired in the same as your repairs... Although your attention to detail is a lot higher!! Enjoy the rest of your weekend guys 👍
With regards to the car being recorded I agree. Its only recorded if the car has been written off by the insurance company. If its repaired by the insurance company the there will be no record of the accident on the data base.
Can just say that that section around 10 minutes of you two being filmed without actually knowing it was reql time was really enjoyable.id welcome more of that
I enjoyed the live bit, gave an insight into what you're both working on while you're working. Chris's question made me laugh, that's exactly what we're like at work when we suddenly remember we're working on a site that's open to the public.
Honestly you two and technology, 'was I swearing?' asks Chris, just made me smile. Of course we are all learning every day. Anyway the car looks great now it is done but all those little bits and pieces do add up in costs. You still made a profit even if you can't book a holiday! Glad you talked about the insurance and explained it. My Sister worked in insurance some years ago so I was aware of how it worked but lets hope you have cleared up any confusion. Great video and interesting, thanks Rob and Chris once again.👍👍
Rob hasn't been the same since Range Rover Gate when Chris was heard to shout "Rob I told you to only blow the bloody doors off " joking aside some great videos of late 👍
At a £1000,- pre-tax profit, it is more a work of love than a money maker. But somebody is going to get a very nice car and it is nice that this one was saved from the scrap yard.
I just love the straight talking in your videos, and all the info you show. You mentioned that you'd obviously mention the damage even if the customer wasn't aware of it, but you know that the vast majority of people would just keep quiet about that. That's why I'm so pleased when you guys find a peach like that Audi A6. You deserve to come up trumps purely because of your honesty and the way you do things. Great vid as always, and another great little cars' been given a second chance 👍🏼.
another way of putting it, all those databases are compiled using insurance company information, so if no insurance claim is made - no record "any farting or swearing", your halos are in danger of slipping boys... keep up the excellent work chaps
Good point about accidents not recorded Rob. People who don't like buying a cheap categorised car will buy a car from a forecourt for full price that has been repaired by an insurance company and not recorded 🤔
Sometimes a repaired car is a better buy than the "usual" car purchase because it might often include new or servicable components on the brakes, steering or suspension. Just beause a car is shiny and looks good it does not reflect the state of the mechanics of the car whereas with yours at least everything is known and upfront. Good job.
Old coffee cups are so handy for putting stuff in I have a pile that I use when I’m painting They hold thinners for quite a few days before they fall to bits 👍👍
Would love to see a live stream for a few hours of you both working on the cars. In the words of Bob Ross, "there is no such thing as mistakes just happy accidents".
That has come out really well in the end - paintwork is excellent. Hopefully you will get paintwork done quicker now you have more painters? And good to see you are using both bays in the workshop. Am soooooo looking forward to seeing the Mercedes turned around!
Very nice project, and a good result, guys! Nice car for someone for sure. I have to ask this question; is there anyone else in the U.K. that has the variety of skills and the integrity in the work they perform, other than Chris??!! He continues to amaze me in what he is able to do, and the end result when he's done. That doesn't mean that you don't have skills as well, Rob, it's just that Chris is one of those guys who can do so many things, so well, and is a "diamond" to have as part of an organization like yours. Such a pleasure to watch his work.
No Chris, No farting or swearing just good quality content. Would like to see a live video of you two chatting away working. Well you working and Rob clearing off for parts 😂 only joking. Great work guys 👍
"Was there any farting or swearing?" Then let's use it !! I for one Chris appreciate the family friendly standards you have on your channel, but I did chuckle when I heard that.
I really enjoyed this one I particularly enjoyed your live relaxed unintentionally recorded bit when you thought it was on time lapse it felt like we were in the garage with you both thanks for leaving it in the video
I would rather buy a car from yous than a garage because Chris repairs them properly and you both go over everything before letting them go and best part the prices are reasonable
Those DRLs are surprisingly expensive for all Peugeot-Citroen vehicles. On my 308 there is also a lot of the unit hidden behind the bumper aperture, making for a much larger unit than I'd been expecting to have to squeeze into the hole.. Another successful job overall for you guys, & don't you just love it when a plan comes together? Hope you're not both coffee'd out by now.
I understand about the accident situation I think where ppl are confused is when u do the car vertical part ur exact words are if its been in any accident it will show up but obviously if the insurance company hasn't had anything to do with it it's not going too show up
I know you said it's nothing special but I think a lot of people like to see the 'run of the mill' standard cars being fixed up. Personally I love to watch them, or the older classics and generally don't watch the BMW, MERC and similar but that's my opinion :). Thanks as always for sharing :)
Another grand job lads. You sell all your motors very reasonably priced and are very transparent about their history. If I ever want a 2nd car I would’t hesitate to buy one off of you guys, be a it of a travel from Durham but it would be worth it. 👍👍👍👍👍
Top job yet again lads, the paint looks spot on. Nice to have more than one option when it comes to getting them painted. Not sure if I've made this up or did you say a bit back about moving the painting in house ? Cheers for the content as always lads.
On the topic of write offs and the reigister, a taxi driver pulled out in front of me and damaged my motorbike beyond an insurer's economical repair. I was fully comp, my insurer inspected the vehicle and said they would write it off and made me an offer. Considering their low ball offer, my policy excess and the loss of my no claims bonus, I pursued a claim against the other party which allowed me to keep the vehicle and repair it myself, neither insurer ever owned my vehicle but one of them put it on the register as a Cat C.
Another one that turned out very nice, but as you said a little on the pricy side for parts and work. Still, it will clear the money you put into the job.
Clearly the older the car, the lower the eventual sale price so I would argue that the buyer should expect a few compromises in the cosmetic side of the work to put it back on the road - especially at the prices you charge. Over the years I have watched the channel I can only recall one occasion when you said - we won't fix that, we will give buyers the choice of a lower price or a pristine car at a higher price.
Lovely little car for the money guys and with a clean title. If I was after one I wouldn't hesitate. Our Skoda Fabia is the 1.2l turbo and they motor along very nicely, and as you say, £20 road tax. Happy days 👍
“Was there any farting or swearing” Chris, you absolute legend 🤣🤣🤣. I had to go back to be sure I’d heard right. Best comments I’ve heard in years 🤣🤣🤣. Thanks lads.
It was said so innocently as well 🤣🤣🤣
Brilliant!!! 😂😂😂
That had me creased laughing 😂😂😂
Yes ( I went right back to the start and can confirm there was no farting). 😂🤣
Honestly that got me rolling! I had to replay that twice🤣
"Was there any fartin' or swearin'?"
"No"
"Well just use it."
Can't get more down to Earth than that! 👍
Absolutely creased at that
Brilliant
I thought I had wandered into the garage as you were both having a chat! Magic!
Do us a favour, gentlemen, keep the live stuff going. You work so well together, and to hear you both makes great content. Must be great working with your buddy. Keep it up, your channel takes some beating. Thanks for taking the time to do this.
Wouldn’t hesitate for one minute buying a car off you guys watching the work you carry out every week, top notch🏴👍
2 cars I thought would never see the road again were the black fiesta which had an argument with a rail or two and the white Audi a 1 but they both lived to fight another day well done guys.
I really enjoyed the live section and banter! Keep up the great work Rob and Chris!
Not related to this asuch I've just rebuilt a Peugeot partner 1.6hdi engine with a snapped cambelt only done it because of your videos showing what damage they do when they snap the cam lobs had moved alot side by side with the new one could see the difference thanks for videos they help alot
Loved the accidental live section. The chat between you both is great, especially the any farting or swearing question 😂😂😂

I liked the more fly on the wall style until you noticed 😂 Great video 👍🏻
Agreed 👍
As always guys a superb quality piece of work. Don't worry about Barbados...did it 40 years ago...too hot, too much sand, too expensive, and you can't escape due to it being surrounded by water. The only good thing was flying on a DC10!!!!
At 4 grand what a superb cheap to buy / cheap to run daily for one lucky person. Keep well and safe unlike me with broken ribs and another torn intercostal. Cheers, Bob
i love watching the non time-lapse bit with you guys just chatting away about things, many people could learn a lot about what you guys talk about
I coiuldn't help but think when watching this vid how far Chris has come. When I first started watching you had to drag him in from on the camera and he was a mystery man. I think things changed after the "loo reveal". You and Chris work so well as a team. I can see you two in old age at your local laughng and scratching while sharing a pint.
Oh yeh forgot about that but it was class nice one Rob.
Well done Rob / Chris on getting the sound/ audio good on this video ..very pleased :) no audio booster app required...great.
Nice little car saved from crusher to help someone deserving 👏 cheers guys
I'd rather buy an ex-crashed car from you guys than an unknown minter from anyone else. With you guys, I'd have confidence it was spot on. Great work.
I know for you guys it’s not about the profit, though it is what keeps the lights on…..you continue to do the right thing, the right way and take us along for the ride….. I’m sure comments would have blown up as much if there had been fart! Keep them coming guys and have a blessed weekend
….and when I say “keep ‘em coming” I mean the videos!
More people could take a leaf out of your book with quality repairs and honest descriptions.
I’ve Gotta be honest, Chris cracks me up “was there any farting or swearing” 😅😂
Was so good watching the banter between you both instead of being time lapse, but the odd fart and swear would’ve been comedy gold!
Was nice to see the natural interaction between you and Chris even if it was a mistake also loved Chris's well use it we didn't fart or swear did we? It did make me chuckle and that's the first time I've done so in over a month so thank you.

enjoy seeing the mess...
so much to overcome;
but as a duo, fellas
you're unstoppable...
happy days
Car Vertical should say Rob and Chris fixed it so it's mint 😁👍
I enjoyed the live bit, gave an insight into what you're both working on while you're working. Chris's question made me laugh, that's exactly what we're like at work when we suddenly remember we're working on a site that's open to the public.

Yet another good honest repair , Nothing hidden will be a lot of people after this once again well done
Good job leaving Chris to do the work Rob after that debacle on the range rover!!!!
Might be worthwhile mentioning difference between third party and fully comp when it comes to the HPI register

Great video guys. I liked the live part very natural when you thought you were on timelapse nice to see you working together. Thanks guys
6:16 Chris takes over the channel 🤣
Awesome video guys, lovely car saved 👍
Old coffee cups are so handy for putting stuff in
I have a pile that I use when I’m painting
They hold thinners for quite a few days before they fall to bits 👍👍
Would love to see a live stream for a few hours of you both working on the cars. In the words of Bob Ross, "there is no such thing as mistakes just happy accidents".
That live bit was funny just hearing yous talking normally to each other not realising yous were on camera... 🙂
That has come out really well in the end - paintwork is excellent. Hopefully you will get paintwork done quicker now you have more painters? And good to see you are using both bays in the workshop. Am soooooo looking forward to seeing the Mercedes turned around!
Loved the bit with you guys just chatting about work
Nice job Rob & Chris lovely little motor.
Really enjoying the videos on the channel keep up the great work guys 👍👍👍
I’ve gone back to watching your Saturday video on a Monday. Something to look forward to after the weekend. Fantastic content as ever chaps. Thanks👍
Nice to have the raw footage for a bit guys, nice to see the merc being worked on also
Very nice project, and a good result, guys! Nice car for someone for sure.
I have to ask this question; is there anyone else in the U.K. that has the variety of skills and the integrity in the work they perform, other than Chris??!! No Chris, No farting or swearing just good quality content. Would like to see a live video of you two chatting away working. Well you working and Rob clearing off for parts 😂 only joking. Great work guys 👍

Loved the live stuff putting the bumper on - more of that please! 👍 That’s what we come for - there’s perhaps a bit too much timelapse at times.
Yet another motor in and turned around.A decent profit to boot.well done Rob and Chris .
Another excellent finished car. Top work again lads 👍👍
I liked that’s little live bit 🤣
Hi Rob and Chris, another very nice and unrecorded car. Will be a great buy. Alex.
"was there any farting or swearing"? Love it.
Hello Rob and Chris, brilliant work done on this Citroen DS3,for the money it should sell quite quickly,
I really enjoyed this one I particularly enjoyed your live relaxed unintentionally recorded bit when you thought it was on time lapse it felt like we were in the garage with you both thanks for leaving it in the video
Appreciate your honesty and skill, good video👌👌❤️
I would rather buy a car from yous than a garage because Chris repairs them properly and you both go over everything before letting them go and best part the prices are reasonable
Damaged cars are repaired by insurance companies and not catgargorised and sold for full price
Makes no difference to me as long as they repaired properly
Those DRLs are surprisingly expensive for all Peugeot-Citroen vehicles. On my 308 there is also a lot of the unit hidden behind the bumper aperture, making for a much larger unit than I'd been expecting to have to squeeze into the hole.. Love watching rebuilds we don't get in the States.
I understand about the accident situation I think where ppl are confused is when u do the car vertical part ur exact words are if its been in any accident it will show up but obviously if the insurance company hasn't had anything to do with it it's not going too show up
Classic line from Chris any farting or swearing 🤣🤣🤣
Let it rip potatoe chip 😂
It is refreshing to see and hear real work and not drama. We would not complain if you did swear or fart or even scratch your bum.
Your new office looks great guys
Was there any farting or swearing? had me in stitches!
Me too, they are so professional! 😂
You alway do a great job Rob and Chris brilliant video guys
I know you said it's nothing special but I think a lot of people like to see the 'run of the mill' standard cars being fixed up. Personally I love to watch them, or the older classics and generally don't watch the BMW, MERC and similar but that's my opinion :). Thanks as always for sharing :)
Another job well done lads really enjoyed the content of this build
Another lovely car for someone. You guys really are the the Citroen experts after the number of vehicles you have sorted.👍🇫🇷😎
nice work mate you and chris repair this ds3
Another grand job lads. You sell all your motors very reasonably priced and are very transparent about their history. If I ever want a 2nd car I would’t hesitate to buy one off of you guys, be a it of a travel from Durham but it would be worth it. 👍👍👍👍👍
Hi Rob and Chris brilliant video lovely paint job I love how honest you guys are keep up the good work and videos Bernard

Top job yet again lads, the paint looks spot on. Nice to have more than one option when it comes to getting them painted. Not sure if I've made this up or did you say a bit back about moving the painting in house ?
Cheers for the content as always lads.
Keep them coming boys , look forward to seeing the finished job 👍👍👍👍

Another one that turned out very nice, but as you said a little on the pricy side for parts and work. Still, it will clear the money you put into the job.
Another car ready for a new owner well done guy’s looking forward to the next video.
Another one smashed out the park well done guys

"Was there any farting or swearing? Well just use it." Classic 😂
Enjoyed the none time-lapse part brilliant 🤣🤣🤣
Great video as always well done guys 👍👍
Just noticed the gap under the garage doorthat u opened put a rubber flap on the bottom off the door saves a draft coming tru
Great comment from Chirs 🤣 Great repair once again from you guys 👏💯👍
Haha best video yet again, like an episode of to me to you chuckle brother,
Keep up the good mistakes Rob
Much love
Lovely little car for the money guys and with a clean title. If I was after one I wouldn't hesitate. Our Skoda Fabia is the 1.2l turbo and they motor along very nicely, and as you say, £20 road tax. Happy days 👍
Another good video though for the channel. At least no loss. Happy days. New keeper will be pleased I’m sure. ✌️👍🇬🇧
Chris how far he's come from being the silent off screen professor. Be careful Rob you might just be picking the motors up.
Even when he doesnt know you can hear him he still doesnt say what car the lad has or what they are bidding on a Copart.Good man Chris 👍
Nice finish on this little motor. SRUK finish another one. Well done guys.
More live footage guys would be great, nice finished car and although not your biggest profit it's still a good profit🙂👍
Chris saying that with a completely straight face cracked me up.
"Just use it then!"
Looks really nice well done guy's another one saved 👏
