This channel is where Wheeler Dealer left off. Love the videos, all the cars being repaired and saved from being salvaged. The original UK Wheeler Dealer version shows were so much better than the US version that Discovery Network tried to do.
Those actuators on the boot floor are part of an anti slip rail optional system. Once the boot is closed and driving over 5kmh, rubber rails raise up to help stop suitcases sliding about
Hello Chris and Rob from Australia.....Thanks so much for all the content this year. We access it on Monday and Thursday and I really enjoy that 30 mins of banter and technical wizardry. All the best for the Festive Season to you and yours from me and mine.
The motors on the underside of the boot floor is part of the extended storage pack and the rubber strips above grip anything above them and stiops them from sliding around.
Being in business is all about setting up trusting relationships with your suppliers and customers. You guys do this brilliantly - which is why your suppliers always take care of you. They want repeat business from you and they know they will get it.
Great build once again guys….. you’re are still selling these cars cheap but pleased you are happy with the profit. The new owner will be delighted and knows the has been finished by skilled craftsmen- well done!
Another fantastic rebuild. I'm in the trade and wouldn't think twice about buying one of your cars. I was a little surprised the rear bumper got all reassembled before going back for a repaint.
guys just on another note , when you do the " numbers" , it reminds me of the fast show skit , johnny coming with the extra detail when chris is reading them out , cheers up my day , keep up the good work , happy xmas and roll on 2025
I'm not a BMW fan but I do think that is a lovely car that is credit to the work you have put in. I think that's an amazing price and anyone who buys it will have the peace of mind in knowing that everything has been done to the highest possible standards with nothing left to chance. A great buy for someone and car that should be good for a lot of service in the future.👍
Absolutely love it when Rob says “I will leave a picture up here of what it looked like” I still searching for the ones from 2019 lol 😂😂 Love the vids guys…never change 🙌
any decent paint shop would have seen that colour match off and sorted it.the fact they sent it back like it thinking it was fine is shocking, ide be using someone else next time 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks, good result and have a good Christmas. Like many comments, you do seem to sell yourselves short, but you know your business. On my screen I can't see any problems with the bumper, could be my bad eyes or my 10 year old laptop.
Hi guys. LOVE what you do, but not sure that I agree with your policy of 'leaving something in it for the next guy'. Quite possibly there IS no next guy, so consequently you are depriving yourself of some hard earned (via experience and skill etc.) profit. Profit doesn't HAVE to be a dirty word. I think I would have put that car nearer to £20k, and it would still have been the best one out there. Regards Mark in the UK
A very good job as usual Gentlemen. It is always a fiddle when you didn't take something apart to then put it back together but you got there with it in the end. Just a shame about the match on the back bumper but these things can happen and he has rightly agreed to redo it. This is now a lovely car and will be a good buy for someone plus you have a great profit at the end. Thank you Rob and Chris for the series on this car it has been interesting to watch it transformed from wreck to pristine. 👍👍

Your patience and humility is a lesson for anyone in business. You're not greedy and you work well with suppliers. A real role model. Cheers.
The panel in the boot with the motors on lift those strips to prevent luggage sliding around and is part of a package.
Those actuators on the boot floor are part of an anti slip rail optional system. Once the boot is closed and driving over 5kmh, rubber rails raise up to help stop suitcases sliding about

In the boot boys that’s an optional extra for those bars, they actually rise and stop suitcases sliding around when cars moving
Hi Rob & Chris....the 2 things under the boot cover fill the tracks with Air 2 on each sides to stop things sliding around..👍

Them electric motors within the boot floor trim is to prevent luggage moving around whilst driving.
Yes, they inflate the rubber strips to stop luggage sliding about. It is an option (which mine hasn’t got)
I thought you guys were going to set up your own spray shop, what happened to that?
