Like, he'll glare at the enemy, he looks like he's growling, and he loses control of his ear-flap things cos he's just really angry she got hit instead of him.

Spoiler: The new arc is that ABA is actually started to mutate the key because SHE is corrupting HIM. She was effectively killing him because of her emotional state. Because ABA know the key never loved her back. But eventually the key told her they care work something out between them and not to be so jealous all the time.
