Akuma is top 5 at absolute worst right now. Top 3 more likely, but hard to tell. He doesn't need buffs. His presence alone puts Gief up a tier because Gief actually has the tools to catch him now and makes the matchup extremely scary for Coomer who is going to have a pretty significant tournament presence.
I also think he should get a buff, because to me It looks like he loses the damage exchange from combos with almost every character because of his low health, so either give him a Little more health or a little more damage tò Better justify the low health. Another solution imo could be to give him back his zanku hadouken while jumping back so he can zone his opponent better

To give other street fighter characters the capability to more easily beat Akuma is useless when you consider there is no character in Street Fighter that has been used to successfully defeat much more larger and seemingly much more powerful, non street fighter related opponents.
@@kevinspears10531 even if he had the better toolkit, it was supposed to be like that to secure more damage, so he had bigger damage dealing moves in some games, and bigger damage combos in others, but he always reigned in the damage dealing, sacrificing his own health pool to make it worth. Sadly, this akuma gives the same damage as other characters while having the least health. It doesn't feel right...
CAPCOM want you to buy the new DLC. That is why bison damage is HUGE and make no sense. They know about it and they will nerf it. Trash move from them. That damage make absolutely NO SENSE at all compare to akuma super.

Well, maybe it could depend on the way it's setup.. like scaling, juggle limit etc. But generally it's just the timing.
You simply do the f+hp as soon as you recover from the stomp, there's no trick to it. Its actually a trial combo
