Just curious, what are the Texas requirements for "street legal"? I know that in Ohio we need to add a license plate holder that is lit, back up lights that come on automatically when in reverse (I believe that Black Dog Customs sells the switch, must specify 3 or 4 speed tranny) Working seat belts in all positions occupied by a passenger and driver. One assumes that the vehicle came with windshield and wipers if a "stripper" one MUST ADD these items. Working brake and signal lights. Working horn.
@@Subgunman for texas it's a bit simple. one working rear view mirror, license plate holder w/light, backup lights, windshield wipers, and functioning lights. licensing it is going to be a bit of an issue now that they've changed the rules. I've got to go the bonded title route.
I had the same problem on my Humvee. I figured out the seatbelts are orientation sensitive and very picky. They will only unlock on specific upright position.
Those "two part" seat belts are great in a combat situation where one needs to have upper body mobility when defending the vehicle while still maintaining some safety of the passenger. Believe it or not there are still some older airplanes in General Aviation that still use a two part harness, not the best when it comes to a critical situation when one is trying to maintain control of the aircraft in an emergency situation.
Hey, bought them on eBay. I will include the link for it here and the description. Hope it helps! www.ebay.com/itm/175400200990?hash=item28d6aaab1e:g:jMUAAOSwARZXjqBh
Nice job....
Thanks! :)
Good job man! I haven't even started with my street legal stuff here in Texas. Still working through engine issues.
Thank you buddy! It takes a lot of time and money but definitely worth it! :)
