Hello everyone, welcome back to Total War: Warhammer 3! Today, Epidemius only makes it through 3 Turns because of the unrelenting Dawi Reckoning starting at 11:55 and ending never. Even Tamurkhan came to join the Dawi-bashing fun at 1:02:14 and Aenar turned face to the North at 1:25:13. The brutal grinds at 1:37:39 and 1:54:59 taught me that I need more Bile Trolls for punching power, but Soul Grinders may also do the trick as long as the Dawi artillery can be kept in check. The Asrai made a brief appearance against Epidemius at 21:09 and Rulek at 49:27, but I don't really see them being a threat for the immediate future -- thanks for watching!
1:32:15 I mean, isn't the whole thing about bombs like those from Blasting Charges or Zombie Pirates that they're excellent vs. high-model infantry, but less effective against, among other things, low-model-count Large units like Monstrous infantry? Ogres seem like a solid punching bag for these in that case, and though I have seen people use them effectively vs. certain single entities, I imagine that Tamurkhan is simply Too Thicc to feel anything more than a slight itch Good job letting everything WITH Blasting Charges get their lobs off, along with generally letting the Dwarven artillery have opportunities to have their way, BTW (even if you were able to heal off their handiwork most of the time) Also, the work Chosen & Chaos Warriors are putting in this series is very admirable: doing the yeoman's work that rarely gets highlighted in your closeups or general focus during battle, virtually always coming out with the most dmg post-battle but never hurt enough that you're forced to hide one or two of them away the next time, and generally fulfilling their designated roles despite being surrounded by other tanky units who are tanky in other ways from them. I may not care about playing you much, Absurdly Armored Boys, but I can't deny you've shown off why you're so vital to the WoC...er, MonoGod experience so far this campaign
Yeah, Blasting Charges and Bombers absolutely obliterate infantry, so I felt like eating it with a single target would be fine... as long as it doesn't die. XD As for letting the Dawi ranged have their way, I can't make it look like I'm dominating them *too* hard or else it won't be exciting! Nurgle is also very slow. :c Chaos Monogod mortal infantry was one of the greatest additions to the game, and I won't hear anything otherwise.
You've used the respec before, in the Kairos playthrough. Unrelated to that, can I request Ostankya for the next Total Warhammer campaign? I've seen her mechanics from another TH-camr, and, though you may think it blasphemous, I say she's even better at screwing with people than Tzeentch.
Tbh, the only thing I remember about the Kairos playthrough is my burning hatred of Zhao Ming, but thanks for the reminder! I probably won't be doing another Total War playthrough until the new DLC later this year but I'll keep the Hag in the back of my mind. (:
The appeasement of the algorithm is an impossibly mysterious task, but it all boils down to one dreadful word: "engagement". Comments, likes, dislikes, clicks, watch duration, clicking on subscribe or join, all of it appeases the TH-cam overlords to uncertain degrees, so my guess would be many comments. XD
