Love this type of content! Question though.... I purchased the spread sheet doc and I LOVE it. I'm having a hard time understanding how PC cards play a role in the value of inventory/revenue/expenses. For example, I have a bunch of inventory that I sell, I use that money + a few other cards to do a trade/cash deal for a big PC. Does that new PC card count towards the existing inventory value? Would love to get your thoughts on this. Thanks!
Question would you still add all expenses for transactions that aren’t charged until the next month or two example PSA sub charges when they finish it and not at check out
Absolutely! its easier when you have more to start with, gotta have money to make money! But you could in theory start with as little as like 10 cents and find a card to flip out of a 10 cent box!
Renting a building for a card shop alone is way OVER 100 hundred dollars. Better have at least $3,000 to start. If your lucky…… but you won’t be. And besides, the hobby will be deader than a door nail very soon.
I’ve been posting these business updates for like 2 years. If me paying myself 5k a month net makes me a target then many people way way bigger than me have been hit already 🤣 I’m a smallllll fish in the hobby grand scheme

Depends on if you would ever be willing to sell, if no you wouldnt count as inventory. Would just be a 100% "loss" on that lot
I would track it in the inventory! While it’s not things you’re looking to sell it’s still value you have!
@ gotcha! Should I put all my PC Cards that I would possibly be open to selling?

Yes - I just log it when I spend the money not when it’s charged, as I don’t want to think I have more money then I actually do
Is it possible to start from under $100? My goal is to start a card business and make 1k in profit in 11 months

Also have a following… I’ve followed clever cards for about a yr now and I’d say that probably helps

How do you decide what to pay yourself?
Great question! When it came to making the jump I wanted to match what I was making in my corporate America job
Are you skipping your Sunday show?
Yes! This Sunday we have family in town so no show, next one will be Wednesday!
