@@dannboy1244 technically yes, but the studio has replaced and added their own models, icons, textures, and animations. they've done plenty to change the original base and make it their own game.
At least Facepunch did something with the unity store assets as layout then built up

He seems to have been lying all the time... One of the guys that worked with him for 2 weeks mentioned, that he noticed he was working with a complete novice and decided to leave. Shortly after he just complained about how one guy leaving made everything fall apart after 2 weeks he had been there... This guy is obviously a total fraud and tricks people into working for him. Luckily that other dev refused to give him his work...

Around in 2013 I worked with this developer to make dead inside after I think two weeks I realised I was working with a complete novice and I decided to quit he asked me to give him all the work I had done (barely anything after two weeks as it was a hobby unpaid) and i refused he later posted on indiedb an article I have just discovered complaining how my leaving caused issues with the project ...after two weeks??!?

dislikes kinda do effect vids, from what i can recall so many dislikes/like ratios it gets moved from the recommended/trending section of youtube basically it can effect ad rev on the video cz its been moved by youtube and in all honestly i think fry is right in what he is doing, granted he is somewhat targeting the guy in his vids however i do feel that letting people know how much of an asset flipper he is out weights the other

I'm soon awaiting my ban from Flight Simulator: VR's forums for my response to someone cheekily saying they should sell the Unity assets as well: "You can find Flight Master: VR up on my store this summer for the low, low price of $4.99! Sure, I bought the Unity asset and did zero creative work to swap out any asset for my own, but that'll come eventually in future updates (Maybe. Give me your money first and then we'll talk)!"

I used that to get an understanding of developing a survival game because I wanted to learn how to create games of that genre but I can't believe someone would market that a full game. I used it to build off of and am attempting to make a fun survival game.

I did my personal research (you got my tweet, BigFry) and yes, the US price isn't corresponding to the CAD pricepoint. I'm a Canadian gamer so if I had to buy Dead Inside, I would have to pay full price of a AAA product to play this product. No... I would have to pay a $100 CAD just to try if the game works!!! Just because someone DARES to criticize a product. Not only is it very bad for his "company" but it is bad for any consumer like me who would be interested in an Early Access Product.
There are thousands of games on Steam, so many AAA games that are worth a damn. So many independent developers who made fantastic products that have yet to see the light of day. This developer doesn't only have a massive ego, this guy is a downright criminal for using assets and sell them to such a... CAD price just because he's mad at a.... TH-cam video maker who talks about video games because he likes video games? Do we need another Sterling case? It's enough we had John Bain and Jim Sterling invited to meet the people at Valve but damn... this is why we need to get rid of Steam Greenlight and Early Access.
Anyone can use the system and abuse it while those who are actually creative and passionate struggle to have a single product to be on the storefront. We have asset flips, we have politically-driven games, we have spoof games... Can we just have good and awesome games for once? Some games that won't suffer from a single controversy? Goddamn it, devs...

I think we should write a letter to the guys who made Garry's Incident or Guise of the Wolf and apologize because... everyday there seems to be something worse than what they made. At least Wild Games and FunCreators actually tried to do something despite hating criticism.

There is this developer on the unity asset store and he puts in a lot of work in his stuff, he sells high quality kits and assets! And then there are devs that buy the kit, sell it and say that they created it themselves. You made a good video to showcase these type of scumbags
Lol i used the same kit! But i only used it as a prototype as i only wanted to do mapdesign / shaders and the general gameplay system later on. Shelved it and moved to ue4 for sanity reasons xD
