14:15 - nobody calls the World Health Organization “The Who”. The Who is a famous rock band from England.
It’s the “W.-H.-O.” (Like the F-B-I)🤷🏻♂️
Most of the US foreign aid to PH goes to the military. Training & equipment. A bit of it goes to Education for the kids coming up through the system. You’re not going to see US foreign aid going to restring power lines or fill potholes in the street in front of your house. I mean you’re not going to notice evidence, of the millions being spent, in front of your eyes.
Actually its suppose to go toward the those things and more, most aid money goes to Politicians and others. Most know that.
@ I mean, I hear you, sure, if the US is dumping in millions for military training and equipment and infrastructure then that translates to local money that doesn’t need to be allocated to those things. That local money might be easier to ‘lose track of’. Long term, though, we need ‘eyes’ and allies in the area, all things considered. It’s probably still a wise investment.
