I LOVE your poles and trellises! You should think about doing a video about how you make them and what materials you use!! It's a different look that the typical moss or coco fiber poles. Beautiful!💚
That is a great idea for a video! Thank you. You can look at Planterina . She has a video called "How to stake Pothos & Other Indoor Plants" where I got my inspiration ☺️ Have a wonderful day!
Thank you. To make the post I bought jute rope off Amazon and used a glue gun to attach it to a cedar stake. The white pots were bought from Amazon, Dollar Tree, Walmart, Sipkens Nurseries.
Beautiful home and plants and the homemade woodwork equally gorgeous. U might consider moving ur Pilea into higher light...and ur Alocasia would equally appreciate a high light spot on one of ur shelves in the bathroom where it could equally reep the benefits of higher humidity. I'm impressed by all of ur Draceana...those and the Deifenbachia don't seem to do well under my care. :-( would love to know what ur lighting and watering tricks are. I keep mostly Hoya and a variety of Prayer Plants...my Prayer plants are my most rewarding growers, pushing new growth all year for me.
Thank you :) I use a moisture meter a couple times a week and water what needs it. This was critical for me otherwise all of my plants would have died quickly from overwatering very quickly lol! I haven't got any Hoya yet...maybe someday I will try them I just know they need a lot of light and I try to keep most of my plants as low light tolerant. 🙂
I have been wanting the Devil's Backbone for a long time. I would like to have both the solid green and the varigated version. Maybe I will order them both. Yours has motivated me. Beautiful plants! Subscribed so I can see more. Do you have a video on how you made your poles for your plants? I just found two Philodendron Micans at Lowes for $16.98 each and they came with a pot and macrame hanger.
Hi! Thanks for subscribing! Yes, recommend a Devil's Backbone for sure. Care tip is not to move it too much and mine gets direct sun for part if the day and likes it :). I have an Instagram (easyhouseplantdesign) and have a reel where I show making the posts but basically I bought jute rope on Amazon, and used hot glue to securely wrap it around a cedar stake :)
Hi there! I took a cedar stake and wrapped it with jute rope I bought on Amazon - secured it with a glue gun. Planterina has a great video called "How to stake Pothos & Other Indoor Plants" that gives great ideas 🙂

Thank you! Great to have a husband that is a woodworker for sure. October :)
Where would I go buy a tree trunk to do that kind of project with? I love the natural wood.
We found the stumps on our local Facebook buy and sell. The stumps were only $15 so it was a good find!
