The CX75 should be made available to those of us who can afford one. It's a shame a car of such beauty is denied us. Jaguar is the only car I drive, and will ever drive.
@@gustaz.evolution " As Lyons and Walmsley's company became increasingly popular, they wanted a name that would reflect the feline-NIMBLENESS of their new 2.5-litre, low-slung sports car. The first car to officially bear the Jaguar name was the 1935 SS Jaguar 2.5l Saloon."
@@playgt326 True, but what I meant was that they shouldn't discount Jaguars 'Easter egg' as something that's supposed to be there instead of a cool mechanic that was cleverly introduced.
Hope we get to see this car at some track events. Would be awesome to hear it there. I think Jag is smoking dope not making a few 100 of these. Awesome car.
This car in particular has the 5.0L Supercharged V8 from the Jaguar F Type. The one in this video is one of the 7 prop cars used for the Spectre film. They had the body of the C-X75 but the powertrain and functional bits from the F Type. The 5 developmental prototypes had the 1.6L Twincharged 4 Cylinder hybrid.
I didn’t like the looks when I first saw it but that orange and the sound made me change my decision. It’s grown on me an d I’m upset that it isn’t in production
I have a 2023 F-Type Coupe and love it. Ian Callum is a genius. Just discovered the CX75 recently. Insane that they didn't put the CW75 into production, even with a different engine, as that 1.6 liter probably wouldn't last long term with 500HP. That said, current F1 engines are 1.6 liter v6 producing around 1,000 HP Maybe a glimpse into what the 2025 F-Type EV will look like?
What a crime for Jaguar not putting this monster into production. A limited number of 200 hundred units wouldn't have hurt the company at that time. They were merely sceptics. Fools.
1.6 engine and sounds this good. These guys did something right back them. Oh Jag why but why wasn't this made. Less units are fine but high margin units.
@@Nickoboss29 yes probably. Jaguar missed big time with this. Not disregarding the financial crisis but this could've added some humble profits in Jag's pockets.
A real shame they didn't make at least 100 of them. It would've taught the hypercars of today a thing or two. With a theoretical 220mph top speed and such a magnificent look and sound, it would've been amazing. A real shame for Jaguar.
This car was made back in 2010 ...but still looks so modern even to this day
Actually the concept is from 2010, the 5 experimental prototypes and the 4 stunt cars were built till 2013...
@@Nickoboss29 So, it was designed in 2010. Which means op is still technically right if he was solely referring to the car's design itself.
@@Gundam-Prime yes, the prototypes have different styling cues...
Hi now 2024 still good

The startup sound is so intimidating... Gives goose bumps
I feel super lucky to sit in one of these cars, it was quite the experience
For me pushing the car backwards also felt like a special experience haha. Dont know why but its not everyday you push a concept car.
You can currently sit in exactly this one in Vienna at the James Bond Exhibition - it was a crazy experience!!

Jaguar always has timeless designs. Can’t take that from them

I guess this car was too straight to make, look what jaguar makes now
@alf3071 Jaguar doesn't make anything. All production has stopped, and they haven't even launched a new car yet, just a pointless concept.
