I bought a P70 Master for £259 about 18 months ago. I'm exceptionally pleased with it. The 8m hose is just enough but 10m would have been nicer. The only let down was the foam cannon whose bottle thread is now becoming very dodgy and which is only OK at best. I was going to convert my old brass one but decided last week just to order the premium cannon as you reviewed it well and the three containers will be useful. The turbo nozzle was the only extra one with mine but, like you said, it only really needs 2 nozzles.
@@epicautomotivedetailing That would have been a great idea tbf. However, now I have the full premium cannon kit (plus new bottles of Touchless and Touch On), I think I'll be a lot happier!
After waiting an age for the easy p57 to get back in stock, i picked up a master p60 from b&q for £329. For the price its excellent and the bundle (XL) includes a premium foam cannon. Really pleased with it all.
Great video Dave . I just got my Evo P70 . I had a little play with it and I love it so far. Looks like Ava listens for you detailer guys because it came with a pro foam canon instead of a basic one.
Dave I was well ready to pull the trigger on the p80 when it was first released but due to the fuse issues and as mentioned not great customer service when my current one brakes ill have saved enough for either the kranzle k7 or the 1159....because if every anything did go wrong you can get the parts from aquaspray and he's uploaded videos showing basic maintenance..but cheers for the video.
Cheers Richard, You can't go wrong with a Kranzle. These P80 models are updated now with a few new internal components since the first generation so they are making progress albeit slow progress
Great video as ever Dave, bit expensive for the weekend warrior but my biggest issue with Ava is the lack stock and customer service which along with the bad reviews puts me off and I know every manufacturer has bad reviews before I’m slammed 😂
Yeah I totally agree with you. I mean they are making progress as far as a relatively new company goes but they need to crack it sooner rather than later
I agree, stock is rubbish, takes weeks to get reply’s to my emails and they handcuff you but only giving you the extra large package on the master, the evo is a much better system and they know This so make you buy a basic package and have to add on the extras at a higher cost.
Great review video Dave👍. AVA make some great pressure washers but as rightly pointed out there's no point going over the top when selecting your choice.
This hose is fibre flex so it's actually different to the flexi hose on the easy series , hope that helps. For me the easy range is better in my opinion
@@epicautomotivedetailing Yeah I bought a Smart P50, because being a weekend warrior it’s everything I need especially having previously bought the 3 beaker premium cannon and it came in under my £250 budget, but the 6m hose just doesn’t cut it, so I’ve been debating whether to get the fibre reinforced or splashing out and getting the steel reinforced extension, and seeing the way the cheaper one just curls up made my mind up, and I’ve decided it’s worth the extra at £100 so I’m not spending my time getting the hoops and kinks out all the time. I do wish I’d spent £100 more now on one further up the range, but you live and learn
@@Piner5074 no way a 6m hose on the easy? That's mad. I never knew they had that length of hose, yeah I can see your frustration. If you're at waxstock drop me a DM as I have spare Flexi lance I'll bring along for you
@@epicautomotivedetailing Thanks for the offer 👍, but a bit out of the way from here in the lakes. Thankfully having used that Yum Snow+, I can skip a couple of stages, and only have to… combination citrus and foam/rinse and hand wash /rinse, to keep the cars clean until the weather turns by which I’ll have ordered the extension. AVA should be ashamed at such cost cutting, and I should’ve checked.
@@Piner5074 honestly I'm really surprised. The feedback from the P57 was spot on. They literally ticked every box. Nobody wants a pressure with a short hose it doesn't make sense
When are you going to make a video about the ecoBooster? (It has only been available for a few weeks.) This thing is an absolute revolution in high-pressure cleaning! It delivers much more power, even for older devices, is much quieter, has less recoil, and is much more comfortable to use. The jet is much more homogeneous, allowing for the cleaning of delicate surfaces. Thanks to the wider and stronger jet, you can finish cleaning much faster.
So many new pressure washers out there but think it will be a long before anything gets better than a kranzel,as a tool which is used on a daily basis, saying that for people who just do a few cars a week and stuff at home then I think they look a good buy 👍
Hi , I’ve just purchased the p80 evolution, large package, this comes with a premium snow foam bottle, I’ve only used it a few times, but what a great machine, plenty of power ,easy to change attachments, BUT why doesn’t Ava, do the p80 evolution with the limited edition kit ,I purchased the p80 evolution because of being able to add a longer hose onto the reel , this can’t be done on the p80 master , like everything there are pros and cons, I would definitely recommend any Ava product, great all rounder
Nice, yeah I'm not a fan of this one. The Evo machines are designed better for the end user. It's just a shame they have a few customer service problems really.
@@epicautomotivedetailing The only real problem I’ve heard about the p80 range is fuse blowing, seams strange to have a slow blow 16amp fuse , when in the uk it’s usually a 13amp max
Would love the extras togo with my P80 Evo (which is in for repair). Recently cleaned my neighbours garden, he doesnt have an outsie tap so to reach I hooked up a hosepipe extenstion - wow, the water pressure was so bad! I guess I would of been much better off If I had the hose extension for the pressure washer, ah well.
Hi Dave I’m looking to buy a pressure washer mainly to just wash the car, but have no idea where to start. Been looking at your videos and do like the Ava. I can get the Ava go P40 large bundle for £119.99 or the Ava easy P50 including 1x PG3 ZeroForce gun, 1x polycarbonate water filter, 1x Zoom lance, 1x Turbo nozzle, 1x Vario nozzle for £120.96. Which would be the better buy or would another brand be better. Thanks in advance for your help. Rachael.
Hiya honestly the "easy range" is the best out of them all. They are part of the second generation of models so newer components plus better ergonomics
Great Video! Could you do a review on the Halfords Advanced PW50? They even do a bundle with a short trigger and snow foam cannon so I’m interested on your opinion if it’s all worth the money. Thanks mate
With the first generation of models yes. This is the new updated model so new internal components. All the easy models are the second generation so they are a lot better now
I bought the p60 evo and when it arrived it was damaged and broken. I have connected them a few times vlbut they have never got back to me. Customer service is terrible imo and no phone number to call, just through the websites Customer report form. I don't know if other people have had similar issues with Customer service. Very disappointed 😞
AVA just didn’t move fast enough to accept and rectify the UK fuse blowing issue. In the meantime my money went on the ‘Nilfisk Premium P200’ and I haven’t looked back: Super powerful, 15m armoured hose and fully adjustable. Sorry, but AVA need to up their game to compete with the likes of Nilfisk, Kranzle et-al.
This is the improved P80 with new components. No official announcement of a master p80 2.0 has been made by Ava but if there is you will be the first to hear of it on this channel 👍
@@epicautomotivedetailing the master 2.0 is on the website, next to the master 1.0. Lots of improvements, including the power problems in old houses.
